  “I have to be honest, my experience with Base Construction has been incredibly frustrating. It feels like they have absolutely no respect for the subcontractors who are putting in the hard work, often working weekends to meet their deadlines. Their payment practices are completely unreasonable – they delay invoices, make misleading claims about work completed, and then hold onto retainage they owe. Several of their managers seem to lack accountability and are consistently disrespectful, blaming others for their own errors. Scheduling is a constant issue, and overall, the company’s professionalism is severely lacking. It’s clear that many of the concerns raised by other contractors about Base Construction are valid; they appear to be motivated purely by profit and don’t value their partners.” report abuse

  “I wholeheartedly recommend Base Construction – they deserve six stars if they had the option! The team, particularly Cody Ritter, KC Merry, and Terry Kovachich, is truly exceptional, especially considering they’re a relatively young company. They’ve built a fantastic operation with skilled Project Managers, Superintendents, and office staff who are clearly focused on delivering outstanding results. As a subcontractor, I’ve been consistently impressed by their professionalism and how thoughtfully they manage every aspect of the project, always keeping all parties’ interests in mind. What really sets them apart is their respect for the work subcontractors do – they genuinely appreciate the challenges and risks involved, and they’ve always been incredibly responsive with payments and proactive in keeping the project on track.   “I was nearly sideswiped on the Chestnut Expressway this morning. The driver in the other lane suddenly swerved into my lane and didn't use a single turn signal while changing lanes or making a turn. The license plate was 3FA V32.” report abuse
