Overall, this was a really frustrating experience. The kitchen remodel, siding, and exterior work – a project costing nearly $200,000 – suffered from a consistent lack of attention and coordination. While we had a couple of genuinely good subcontractors, particularly the mason, the project was plagued with issues. There was a revolving door of project managers, which severely impacted continuity, and frankly, we felt like we were an afterthought. We had to manage much of the project ourselves due to inadequate oversight, and we experienced a lot of repeated billing errors and subpar workmanship. Several subcontractors didn’t deliver as expected, and we had to constantly adjust our schedules to accommodate no-shows. What was particularly disappointing was the complete lack of communication and appreciation from Lundberg as a company – we received nothing after the project was finished. The customer service was also inconsistent, with frequent staff changes and a dismissive attitude when we raised our concerns. It felt like they weren't prioritizing our time or investment, and we wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience.

Working with Lundberg Builders has been an absolutely fantastic experience. We’ve used them twice over the last 20 years to renovate our Annapolis home, and we were consistently impressed. Bob Moreland, their master planner, was a true gem – he was always incredibly patient, willing to revisit our plans, offer creative solutions, and explain everything in a way we could easily understand. The team was incredibly reliable, arriving on time every day and working at a fantastic pace, clearly focused on keeping costs down. They were also meticulous about cleaning up the job site each day. But what really set them apart was their skill and ingenuity. Bill, their master carpenter, did some truly amazing work, like creating perfectly fitted, uniquely shaped doors for our old house – it was like art! Honestly, we couldn’t recommend them more highly. They solved every challenge we threw at them, and we finished both renovations under budget and ahead of schedule – exactly what every homeowner hopes for!

Jessie Badroe’s service was extremely disappointing and ultimately unacceptable. The initial project estimate of $200,000 ballooned to $375,000 without explanation, and we repeatedly received drawings that didn’t align with our vision. It felt like he wasn't truly hearing our needs, and after we tried to terminate the contract, we were completely ignored for a month – a wholly unprofessional and frustrating experience.

“Eamon Seidel was absolutely fantastic to work with – truly one of the best contractors I’ve ever encountered.”
