  I was incredibly disappointed with the driveway installation my father had done. It took nearly two years to get a proposal, and the price kept escalating dramatically each time. Just one week before the work was scheduled to begin, the contractor’s plan was to simply remove the old driveway and level the ground – a shockingly basic approach. Unfortunately, the installation resulted in a serious drainage issue, creating a massive ice patch 90 feet long that made the driveway completely unsafe to drive on without using significant amounts of salt and sand. Despite taking pictures and requesting a simple grade correction, my father refused to address the problem. He only offered to provide a quote for a completely new drainage system, which would have been handled during the initial grading phase if he’d followed his original plans. I never had the opportunity to speak with him directly, nor has he ever agreed to meet, and his mother was the only point of contact, which made communication difficult. Because of these issues, I cannot recommend him. report abuse

  Mike and his crew did a fantastic job with our new driveway. They were incredibly professional – they arrived on time, got straight to work, and navigated our busy street with ease.   “I’ve been really happy with ML Partlow’s work. They did a fantastic job redoing my driveway – it was so quick and professional, and I was really impressed with the results.   “I can’t recommend Mike and his crew highly enough! They did an absolutely amazing job on our driveway – it was honestly incredible. Our old driveway was a real mess, half dirt and broken asphalt with some pretty significant dips. Now, it looks fantastic and has completely transformed our 200-year-old home. It was a smaller project for them, but it was a really big investment for us, and we’re so thrilled with the quality of their work.   Honestly, I was extremely disappointed with this company. It took them an unreasonably long time – several days just to provide a quote, and then another 3-4 weeks for them to actually complete the job. To make matters worse, they went to the wrong address and worked on my neighbor’s driveway! What really upset me was their completely dismissive and disrespectful attitude when I pointed out the mistake. They weren't apologetic at all, and it felt incredibly unprofessional. I’ve now moved on and chosen a company that values their customers and handles things with much more respect. report abuse
