  Abdul did a fantastic job with the lighting updates around the property. He really went above and beyond, incorporating a great variety of lighting styles to highlight all the beautiful features – the trees, patio, and pond – and I’d definitely recommend him. report abuse

  I’ve been using A Blade of Grass for over 14 years, and I can honestly say I’ve been incredibly impressed every single time. Living in a brownstone with three distinct garden spaces, I do both a winter and summer planting each year, and they consistently create stunning, unique designs for each one. What really sets them apart is their team – they’re so knowledgeable about flowers and plants, and my team leader is fantastic at understanding my specific tastes. She really listens to me and always delivers exactly what I envision for my gardens. Yes, they're a bit pricier, but in my opinion, you absolutely get what you pay for – the quality of their work is outstanding, and I wholeheartedly recommend A Blade of Grass; you won’t be disappointed! report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. We purchased a flowering dogwood in the spring of 2020, and it took them nearly a year – right after a particularly hot spell – to actually plant it. Despite following all their care instructions meticulously, the tree died before the leaves fell. We then tried to get a replacement the following spring, but it took them another eight months to respond and replant. Sadly, the tree died again by late winter. When we contacted them in April to request a replacement or a refund, we received no response whatsoever. We repeatedly called, left messages, and sent emails, but nothing. It wasn’t until I threatened to take them to small claims court in July that they finally contacted us, and they offered us just one-third of the original cost – without explaining anything about their terms of service. Honestly, the customer service was absolutely terrible.” report abuse
