  Ileana and her team were absolutely fantastic! They designed a beautiful and incredibly efficient apartment for my family, and thankfully, after some delays on the construction company’s end, it’s finally ready for someone to move in. Ileana really maximized the natural light with the skylights and window placement, and even though it’s a small space (440sf), it never feels cramped. What really stood out was Ileana's expertise – she not only had a great eye for design but also navigated the whole DC approval process with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs with impressive skill.   “I can’t recommend Ileana highly enough! I started working with her on a recommendation and it’s been absolutely fantastic. We’ve used her services on five projects since 2020, including our home-based childcare program, a garage rebuild, and two short-term rental properties. Seriously, she has an incredible ability to take your ideas—even if they’re a little vague—and turn them into the best possible design plans, all while keeping your budget in check. The transformation she brought to our space was truly incredible, and everyone – our team, the families, and the children – felt so much better in the new environment. But the project that really stands out is my kitchen. It was so special to me because it was my mom’s kitchen, the one she spent so much time in, and we had so many dreams for it. Ileana truly understood the importance of this project to me and she brought her own amazing vision to the table, focusing on things like creating more space around the island so we could all cook together.   Ileana was absolutely fantastic to work with! She really breathed new life into a design project that had been stuck for years. She not only incorporated our ideas brilliantly, but she also helped us save money and streamlined the entire process, from initial design to getting the necessary permits. What impressed us most was her ability to manage all the different opinions we had and synthesize them into a really strong, cohesive design. She even gave us the confidence we needed to work effectively with DCRA.
