  “I contacted these people hoping to get professional plans for a deck and pergola for my community. They initially asked for $300 for a site visit, and then, two weeks later, suddenly demanded an extra $2500 to actually create the plans. It turned out they were essentially trying to charge me a huge amount for something that would have only cost me $1500 to build.
