“I’m really concerned about the situation. They’ve been using my property as a free storage area for their trailers for the past six weeks, and they haven’t moved them yet. It feels like they’re taking advantage of my willingness to help, and it’s simply not acceptable to hold onto equipment indefinitely.”

“I’m really disappointed with how this situation was handled. They’ve had two 60-foot trailers parked on my lot for over six weeks, and they’ve repeatedly cited trucking issues as the reason they can’t move them. Frankly, it feels like a significant lack of respect and a poor way to treat customers.”

“I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Riley Bryan – he was incredibly helpful! Even though I wasn't buying a house through Champion, he went above and beyond to provide me with a list of contractors for a project I’m working on. Really appreciated his assistance.”

I was really disappointed with my experience with Champion Roofing. I bought a house in a park setting five years ago from a private seller, and shortly after moving in, I discovered the roof was failing. The park informed me that many homes like mine, built in 2017, were being reroofed under warranty – which highlighted a known issue. I contacted Champion and was told I wasn’t covered because I wasn’t the original owner, despite their website prominently advertising a 7-year transferable warranty. The fine print seemed to contradict this, saying it depended on the home’s history. Now, I’m stuck with a new roof on a five-year-old house, and to add to the problem, I also needed a new water heater. It’s frustrating to learn that the roof wasn't properly installed with an ice/water shield, which is required in Michigan, and it completely undermines their claims about building to protect against the elements.

“I really regret not doing more research before deciding to buy a home with Champion Homes. I made a down payment on July 2nd, and things quickly went wrong. I was really stressed about getting the unit as fast as possible, and my salesperson, Xavier, seemed to understand that urgency. However, I was constantly reaching out to him for updates on the delivery and setup costs, especially since it was around the Fourth of July – a busy time for everyone. Xavier never contacted *me* to let me know how things were progressing. It felt like I was the only one pushing for information. Champion Homes doesn’t handle financing either, which was a major issue. I was finally approved for a loan by Triad, but only after I had to follow up multiple times. Then, when I finally called Xavier for an update, he just said he was going to call me! After weeks of this, I just couldn’t take it anymore and requested a refund of my down payment, including the cancellation fee. Honestly, the customer service was completely unacceptable. It took nearly two months for my refund to arrive, and I wish I’d investigated Champion Homes more thoroughly beforehand. The only positive thing was that I discovered Triad financial services – they offered significantly better interest rates than anyone else. But overall, I strongly advise against doing business with Champion Homes; you’ll likely be disappointed.”

I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience with Champion Homes. I submitted a warranty claim on May 29, 2019, detailing issues with my new home, but I’ve received absolutely no response. I followed up on May 1st, 2019, with the same information, and again, I heard nothing. It’s incredibly disheartening – a warranty is completely useless if the company isn’t willing to address problems. The overwhelmingly negative reviews I’ve found, coupled with the fact that the only positive feedback seems to come from employees, leads me to believe Champion Homes isn’t truly standing behind their product. I strongly feel the Federal Trade Commission should investigate potential misleading advertising practices.

It took a really long time – months and months, actually – to finally get the melted siding replaced after so much pushback.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my Champion home. Purchased in 2019, it’s already developed a serious problem – the subfloor is rotting through to the joists, and there’s significant mold growth throughout. It seems like water was able to get in from the very beginning because the front door wasn’t properly sealed, creating a constant pooling issue. Honestly, you’d be best served to inspect any Champion home with a very close eye, as the quality is clearly lacking. It’s a stressful situation and I’m worried about the potential for insurance claims.”

We’re incredibly frustrated with the situation we’ve been facing with Titan Homes. They hired a crew to build our home, but they were shockingly unprepared, using inadequate equipment and repeatedly getting stuck, which ultimately created a significant water hazard. We were asked to sign off on the initial site preparation, and frankly, we find it hard to believe anyone would agree to that given the circumstances. As a result of these serious issues, our mortgage company is now holding our funding until Titan fully resolves this. In retaliation, they’ve stopped all work by other vendors and are essentially holding our home hostage, preventing us from even entering it despite having insurance coverage in place. It's a completely unacceptable situation.
-
I can honestly say my experience with this company was incredibly disappointing. I was seriously considering having them build three homes for me, but I never received any response to my inquiries through their contact form – despite reaching out multiple times. Because of this complete lack of communication, I wouldn’t hesitate to advise against working with them. It’s extremely difficult to imagine ever engaging with such an unresponsive and unprofessional business.
