“Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. We were expecting the installation to happen on Saturday, but they didn’t show up until almost 10am after delaying everything to Sunday morning – and even then, no one called to let us know. The installer only spoke Spanish, which made communication difficult. Once the job was done, we discovered two large seams in the carpet and it took two weeks to finally get someone to return our call. Now, four weeks after the installation, no one has even looked at those seams, and our furniture is still sitting in boxes. It’s completely unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this company.”

Honestly, we had such high hopes when we hired them to remodel our 1,300 square foot home with new vinyl planks. Our salesman painted a really positive picture, promising a smooth and exciting process. Unfortunately, it turned into a complete nightmare. From the very beginning, we were constantly dealing with dust, dirt, and chaos in our home. They initially told us they’d move our furniture as long as we cleared it off, which we did. But then they insisted we buy our own furniture covers and tape – costing almost a hundred dollars – which they didn’t even use! The installation itself was incredibly sloppy; they left cracks in the baseboards, gaps between the planks, and even cut the planks too short, leaving unsightly gaps along the walls. The molding was also poorly done, and the caulking was uneven and full of half-inch gaps. To add to the frustration, our home was left covered in dust, and we’ve been struggling to clean it up nearly two weeks later. We've tried repeatedly to reach customer service and the project manager, but haven’t received any response at all. The installer called the night they finished to say someone would be back to clean, but we haven’t heard anything since. Given the price we paid for the flooring, we expected a far higher standard of work and customer service – and we’re incredibly disappointed.

“Overall, Juan did an absolutely fantastic job! The appointment was really smooth, and he patiently walked us through all the different flooring options. I was particularly impressed with his efficiency – using the laser to take measurements was a huge time-saver, and seeing the final design on the iPad was really cool. It’s great that the installation can happen before our vacation, which takes a lot of stress out of things. And we really appreciate them moving our furniture for free!”

Honestly, my experience with Express Flooring has been incredibly frustrating. I’m giving them just one star – and it’s a really hard decision. From the start, communication was almost non-existent. The installers were incredibly difficult to reach, constantly promising to call back and never doing so. They missed multiple scheduled days of work, and on one occasion, the crew actually tiled over painted surfaces in my home – a shocking oversight! To make matters worse, they didn't bother with proper preparation, like grinding off the paint from the concrete, despite me requesting it. They were also completely unprepared, working without any ventilation or protective equipment, leading to a massive amount of dust in my house. It was like they were doing their own prep work, and a very messy one at that. I was left completely in the dark about timelines and changes, and I’m paying $14,000 for this! I’m seriously considering other options at this point.

“The whole process of scheduling our consultation was really smooth and simple. Jeremy, our design consultant, was fantastic – he was incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to work around our availability for the installation. He was also so thoughtful to drop off a sample box of the wood beforehand, which allowed us to confirm we were happy with the color and style before we committed to the full installation. We’re really excited to finally get started and replace our old carpet with wood!”

I’m incredibly disappointed with the entire experience. We invested over $11,000 in new tile installation, and we’ve found a significant number of imperfections. The biggest issue is the unfinished transition between the carpet in our bedrooms and the new tile – the flooring express salesman didn’t inform us that the installers wouldn’t be addressing this, resulting in a very sloppy and unprofessional cut-up carpet edge. Despite multiple calls and sending photos documenting the problem, I was ultimately told that this transition wouldn’t be covered and that I’d be responsible for the extra cost. It’s simply unacceptable.

“Working with Juan Rivera was a genuinely positive experience. He’s a highly professional and knowledgeable design consultant who really focuses on providing an excellent client experience. He was incredibly patient in answering our questions and addressing our concerns, and handled everything with such respect. We had some initial reservations about the tile color, but Juan went above and beyond, visiting us within 24 hours to offer alternative options and solutions – that kind of dedication is fantastic! My only suggestion would be to expand the range of tile choices available.”

They were so meticulous and detail-oriented, and we’re really happy with the results. We love the new flooring and we’ll be watching to see how it holds up over time.”
