They really listened to what I was looking for – everything from the best price to specific warranty options and even wanting a system made in the US. They presented me with several tailored quotes after a thorough initial discussion. Once I’d done my own research comparing the different systems and companies, I decided to go with them. The installation itself was fantastic. The team was incredibly efficient, friendly, and kept the site clean, which is exactly what I expected. Dave, the foreman, was particularly helpful, explaining everything clearly.   I wholeheartedly recommend Custom Solar & Leisure. After months of researching solar installers, they completely exceeded my expectations. I initially received bids from SunCity (using Tesla panels) and SunPower, but both were ultimately unacceptable. SunCity’s initial quote was riddled with negative reviews and they refused to provide any specifics about their system – refusing to even disclose the panel model numbers or warranty details despite charging a premium. SunPower’s bid was significantly higher than the others, and frankly, they seemed like a troubled company based on industry news at the time. Custom Solar & Leisure offered exactly what I wanted, and they did it at a much better price. They were willing to work with my specific needs, including installing a new sub-panel in my garage, which is a huge convenience – I can now reset breakers from the comfort of my garage! I opted for LG Neon panels with Enphase microinverters, both with impressive 25-year warranties. I did my research and knew that panel efficiency is affected by temperature, so I selected panels with a low thermal coefficient. Plus, the microinverters give me individual panel monitoring and ensure continued operation if one panel fails. What truly set Custom Solar & Leisure apart was their professionalism and attention to detail. They provided a comprehensive 6-page estimate that clearly outlined everything – system size, panel and inverter specs, warranty information, and even an aerial view of my home. They’re a locally owned company, which I appreciate, and they were consistently courteous and kept the work area clean.
