  “I was really surprised – the Dollar General presence in Tulsa is definitely growing! This particular store is in a great location, right in the heart of the city. I was impressed with the selection they had, including fresh produce and a decent beer selection, plus all the usual Dollar General items. It would be fantastic if they could expand their grocery offerings too, especially for the folks who live nearby.” report abuse

  “Honestly, I was really surprised by the high rating for this place. We went there from our hotel and it felt incredibly unsafe – there were a lot of homeless people around, and the area just didn’t feel secure, especially with the sun still up. Plus, it was quite dirty. They had a decent selection of drinks, but unfortunately, the environment really detracted from the experience.” report abuse

  “I’ve unfortunately had a really frustrating experience trying to visit this location. Despite the posted hours, the door was consistently locked every time I went after 5pm. Tonight, there was someone there at 7pm, but they wouldn’t let me in and told me they were closed. It seems like they’re not consistently open, and that’s really disappointing, especially considering how few options there are downtown. Honestly, it’s hard to support a business that isn't accurately reflecting its hours. Perhaps hiring some security would help address the downtown issues, but ultimately, this location just doesn’t seem to be meeting the need for a convenient store in this area.” report abuse

  “This is a really handy little store, and the staff are super friendly. They’ve got a surprisingly good selection – everything from fresh produce and alcohol to household essentials like paper towels, and even frozen pizza. Being downtown, it does get a bit busy and you might encounter a diverse range of people, so it’s worth noting if you’re easily overwhelmed.” report abuse

  “I had a really concerning experience at this store. Twice now, an employee, a Black man wearing a white hat, has refused me entry. I want to be clear – I was not involved in this, and I regularly wear different suits. Because of this unsettling interaction, I won’t be shopping here again.” report abuse

  “I’d give them two stars – they had what we needed, which was great. However, the biggest issue was the lack of bathroom access; we weren't allowed to use their facilities. And to make matters worse, they refused to manually process our card, saying they couldn’t unless it was an EBT card. So, despite being conveniently located, the whole experience wasn’t really convenient at all.” report abuse

  “I’m consistently disappointed with this store. It’s frequently closed with no explanation, which is incredibly frustrating. The management seems completely unreliable and doesn't appear to care about providing a good service. Frankly, it’s a poorly run business and I believe it needs a significant change – ideally, a dry cleaner would be a much better use of the space.” report abuse
