“I just wanted to share an amazing experience I had thanks to your team. I was stuck on Highway 75 with a flat tire earlier today, and two of your employees went above and beyond to help me out – they stopped their work, navigated across the barriers, and quickly changed my tire. I’m so incredibly grateful for their kindness and quick thinking. They were truly awesome!”

I’m incredibly concerned about an incident that occurred tonight involving one of your employees and his work truck. I was unfortunately forced off the road near the Hard Rock Casino while attempting to follow him to the 727 bar. He was driving recklessly – approximately 90 mph and weaving in and out of traffic – and even intentionally ran me and my three children off the road before flipping me off. I’m deeply worried about the potential for a serious accident. I’ve documented the situation with video and witness accounts, and I intend to report this to relevant safety monitoring agencies.

“Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. The construction crew seemed completely disorganized – they blocked the entire road without any signage and hadn’t even let inspectors through. Then, to add to it, they were operating heavy machinery slowly down the street while the foreman went for lunch. It just seemed like a lack of basic coordination and professionalism.”

“I just wanted to say how incredibly pleased I am with the work they’ve done on the Turner Turnpike extension into Tulsa. It’s been fantastic to see the progress happening so quickly and efficiently, and with such a minimal disruption – it’s really made a big difference, especially avoiding those lengthy stops between Bristow and the Yale exit while I’m commuting to St. Francis.”
-
“I’m really concerned about the issues raised in this review. The reviewer describes unsafe driving habits by employees, and understandably connects this behavior to a lack of attention and responsibility in the workplace. It’s crucial to address this directly – speaking with employees about how their off-duty conduct reflects on the company is absolutely necessary. I also appreciate the reviewer bringing to light the interaction with specific staff members, and I’ll be looking into that further.”

“I’m extremely concerned about the progress on the ODOT intersection project in Jenks. The work was scheduled to be finished in February, and we’re now into June with very little progress made. It’s incredibly frustrating that city officials can no longer even provide a realistic completion date. I’ve been visiting the site regularly, and it’s consistently disappointing to see days with no workers on site at all. This delay is causing a significant disruption for residents in the surrounding neighborhoods, and frankly, it feels like Sherwood Construction isn’t prioritizing this project.”

“I wanted to share a really positive experience. A gentleman named Martin went above and beyond to help me when my car battery died in the freezing cold. He didn’t have to do anything, but he took the time to get me going – truly remarkable kindness, and I really appreciate it. It’s people like Martin that a company should be hiring!”
-
“During a recent visit, I observed a concerning lack of social distancing among some of the Sherwood Construction employees. Specifically, I had to repeatedly ask one employee to step back while we were stopped at a gas station near I-44 and Skelly. It became clear that the employee had difficulty communicating in English and wasn’t maintaining a safe distance.”
-
“Sherwood’s been incredibly busy with the recent road and bridge projects. It’s a bit concerning, though, that they’re handling all of their safety inspections and regulatory compliance themselves, rather than having a third party conduct them – that approach could potentially introduce a bias.”
-
“I’ve really enjoyed my time working at Sherwood Construction. They’re a solid company – I’ve been involved in some great projects building bridges and highways out in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.”
