  “We’re incredibly disappointed with our experience with American Vision Windows. We signed a contract in October 2022 to install seven Windsor Pinnacle windows and two doors at our cabin in Simi Valley, and almost two years later, the job remains unfinished. We invested over $40,000, including $13,000 for a bath enclosure that itself had issues due to the botched window installation and a leaking pipe. The installation process was plagued with problems from the start. We discovered two windows were missing, and then it was revealed that crucial parts – the sashes for the casement windows and the picture glass – were missing. Despite repeated emails, texts, and phone calls, and Jake Herren’s initial promises of oversight, the issues were repeatedly delayed and poorly addressed. The final window installed in March 2024 had significant operational problems, including being unable to close properly, along with noticeable defects like holes in the frame and missing weather stripping. It’s been a completely unacceptable level of service. No one followed up, no one took responsibility, and we’ve been left with a substandard product and a huge amount of stress. To add to the frustration, we’re now being sent to collections despite the fact that the work is still incomplete. We chose American Vision Windows based on reviews and Jake Herren’s assurances, but this experience has been a complete betrayal of trust and has significantly impacted our enjoyment of our cabin.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend this company highly enough! From the very beginning, with the quoting and measurements, everything was handled with top-notch service. Our Project Manager, Bucky, was fantastic – he was so patient, explained everything clearly, and really kept us in the loop. The installation team, Octavio, Jose, Alfredo, and Micha, were equally impressive. They were punctual, incredibly respectful of our property, worked incredibly quickly and efficiently, and the quality of their work was outstanding – everything was clean and precise. The installers, particularly Arturo, were incredibly professional and did a brilliant job. I recently had them replace and install four more windows, and it was just as smooth and positive this time around.   “I was really pleased with the service we received from American Vision Windows. Hugo was fantastic on the phone scheduling the repair, and Henry and Michael did an absolutely excellent job with the trim work. Henry was so knowledgeable and offered some great recommendations for other updates we were considering, and he was both quick and incredibly thorough.   “American Vision was fantastic – they truly went above and beyond what we expected. Jesse Leal was a fantastic project manager, and the whole team, including Jesse, Jose, Juan, Erik B., and Carlos, were incredibly professional and efficient.   Overall, the company provided fantastic service – from the initial sales to the installation itself, they were really easy to work with and got the job done quickly. However, I was quite disappointed with the final result. They hadn’t mentioned that the windows would be tinted green, and once the protective film was removed, the tint was a noticeable green, which clashes horribly with the color of my house. I was expecting a more subtle tint, like a car window, but a green tint is completely unexpected and not something I wanted. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a house. report abuse
