They’ve been incredibly professional, clean, and thorough, and thankfully passed all the city inspections right away. Communication with Mike through the WhatsApp group has been fantastic – so easy and efficient. Jose Mario and Julio have been particularly great – always on time and really detail-oriented.   I was really impressed with this company – I found them through Yelp and the reviews were fantastic. What stood out was that it’s a father-son operation, and Shawn responded to my initial inquiry quickly. He was upfront and honest, explaining that they primarily focus on single-family remodeling, custom bathrooms, and ADUs, and don’t typically take on commercial projects. Despite that, he was incredibly helpful, spending a good 20 minutes discussing my rental home and ADU plans, and even offered to get back to me with any further questions.   “Honestly, I was a complete nervous wreck going into this – converting my garage into an ADU to rent out and also remodeling my bathroom. I spoke to a few contractors and chose MDM Custom Remodeling because Shawn just seemed so professional and thorough. From the start, they really took the time to develop a detailed 3D design and a realistic budget. I was blown away by how quickly they got to work! They completely demolished the garage and hauled away all the debris in a single day. Then, within a couple of weeks, they finished the framing, plumbing, electrical, and ventilation. It was incredible! They moved so fast, finishing the rough work in just another month and then immediately starting the finishing touches. It took them about four months and a week to completely transform the garage into this beautiful, amazing ADU. Now, I’m actually living in my own house, enjoying my brand new remodeled bathroom, and I’m even in the process of renting out the ADU.   Shawn was a really professional and helpful consultant when he came to our house in Los Angeles to discuss converting our garage into an ADU and some other remodeling projects. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and even offered some fantastic new ideas we hadn’t considered.   Mike and MDM Custom Remodel were fantastic! They completely transformed my kitchen – they knocked down the walls, designed a really beautiful space, and, amazingly, finished the whole project ahead of schedule.
