  I’ve been a long-time Home Depot shopper, but honestly, they’ve completely won me over. I’m now definitely making them my go-to for all my home improvement needs – they have a great selection of tools and even offer rentals and moving vehicles, which is super convenient. Plus, the customer service is fantastic! I recently ordered a desk online and picked it up at Home Depot, but there was a bit of a hiccup locating it. It took us nearly 30 minutes to find it after some confusion, and I was understandably frustrated. However, they immediately acknowledged their mistake and gave me a $50 off coupon for my next visit – a really good way to handle a tricky situation.   Honestly, my experience renting from this store has been incredibly frustrating. As someone who usually rents tools from Home Depot, I’m really disappointed with the way things went. A friend returned a tool for me the day after I picked it up, but it was checked in under the wrong account number, and now Home Depot is saying I’m responsible for the rental fees. I brought the tool back to the store, and they admitted it was their mistake, but they’re still using a collection agency to chase me for the money. The way they handled it – being so aggressive and making me feel like I’m in the wrong – was really upsetting. I definitely won’t be renting from them again. report abuse

  Overall, the staff were really helpful and responsive. It’s definitely a good idea to do your own thorough check of the equipment before you leave to make sure everything’s in order. I particularly appreciated how quickly they handled an issue I had – they were able to swap out the rental really fast. report abuse
