  I was absolutely thrilled with the work Tao and his team did replacing our carpet and installing new hardwood. They were incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to meet our needs. We were looking for a specific, uncommon color, and Tao took care of everything – sourcing it, getting it shipped to Massachusetts, and overseeing the perfect installation. To top it off, they even addressed a couple of creaky areas in the original floor. Seriously, I can’t recommend them enough, and the price was fair! report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Tao and his team highly enough! We recently had them refinish *all* the floors in our new home, and then they installed new hardwood – it’s absolutely stunning. They did an incredible job, really transforming our house. They were so professional and took care of every detail, even seamlessly patching up a few areas. Plus, Tao himself is fantastic – so kind and accommodating, he even went above and beyond by expediting our project to help us move our piano!   Tao was fantastic to work with – he was incredibly proactive and really took the time to walk me through the entire floor replacement process. He was always offering helpful advice, and I especially appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond. I hadn’t done anything like this before, and he was a great guide. What really stood out was that when I also mentioned wanting to replace my old closet doors, he connected me with someone who could handle that too – something the other contractors I spoke with weren’t willing to do. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the work Tao and his team did. Seriously, they were fantastic! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, efficient, and meticulous – exactly what you need when tackling a project of this size. They went above and beyond, coordinating our furniture moves in and out before and after the flooring installation, and even handled the tile work right by the front door. We were amazed at how quickly they got everything done – it only took them 2.5 days! They really took the hassle out of the whole process, especially considering we were stuck inside during the pandemic.   “I absolutely loved working with Taozen! I’d read such positive reviews and they completely exceeded my expectations. They did an amazing job refinishing the pine floors in our Somerville condo. Tao was incredibly responsive – he contacted me right away and even came by the next day to discuss the project and offer some really helpful, honest recommendations at a fair price. We went ahead with the refinishing, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We left our keys with them and returned after a 5-day evacuation to a spotless condo with stunningly beautiful floors.   Tao was fantastic – truly a professional and a pleasure to work with. He did a brilliant job with our flooring, completely transforming our space. He replaced everything – our old flooring, the carpet, and the laminate with beautiful hardwood. Honestly, people who’ve seen the finished job are consistently blown away, saying “Wow, those are really nice floors!” They really do make the rooms look fantastic.
