  Bricklands did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our wall. They completely repointed one section and tackled a lot of cracking, and honestly, it’s a huge improvement. I really appreciated that they took care of all the permitting – it was a complicated job with the wall facing a public alley – and they even asked me to let our neighbors know about the temporary closure, which was a considerate touch. They were incredibly thorough, setting up and cleaning up everything perfectly, even stripping the old paint. I had a neighbor reach out to thank me too, which just speaks to how professional they were. The only small thing was a slight misunderstanding about the scope of the work and some change orders, but they handled it with such courtesy and professionalism, and we ended up with exactly what we wanted. You can really see the difference in the before-and-after photos – the wall was in really rough shape, and I'm so thrilled with the result! report abuse

  “We’ve been incredibly pleased with Bricklands – we’ve been using them for almost a year now, and they’ve been fantastic. We started with a simple repointing and slate patio repair, and they not only completed the job on time and within budget, but the results were truly impressive. After that success, we decided to bring them on for a much bigger home remodel, and we were a little nervous going in. We started with one smaller project, and honestly, we couldn’t have been happier. We’ve continued to use them for pretty much everything since then, including our recent kitchen remodel, which looks absolutely stunning – just like everything else they’ve done. Herson is a really trustworthy guy, and we appreciate his attention to detail. He’s always upfront with pricing and he’s incredibly proactive; he checks in after each project to ensure everything is done to his high standards, and he’s never hesitated to send his team back to fix anything that needed attention.   I was really frustrated with Bricklands Inc. after they did some work for my neighbors’ patio project. There were a few significant issues – they didn't really communicate clearly about the project and the work they did left a messy, damaged area on my property, including water runoff onto my walkways. I’ve raised the rating to three stars now that they’ve fixed the damage, but it’s made me cautious. Going forward, if you hire them, make absolutely sure they do a thorough walk-through with you and that they let your neighbors know about any work that could affect them – a simple note left at the door would be a good idea. Honestly, I’m worried about how they handle projects and the potential for overlooking property impacts. I’m seriously considering taking further action if these issues aren’t resolved properly. report abuse

  Bricklands were fantastic – we got four quotes for the tuck pointing and they were by far the most professional. We’re really pleased with the quality of their work and have had so many people commenting on how much better our house looks now. I can definitely recommend them. report abuse
