  “I was really disappointed with my recent experience at Ritchie Brothers. I received an unsolicited call about a credit offer, and the representative immediately started asking about my vehicle interests. Then, they pulled a vehicle from auction and attempted to pressure me into bidding over the phone without revealing any competing bids – it felt completely dishonest and manipulative. It wasn’t a genuine auction, and their tactics were unacceptable. I won’t be returning to any Ritchie Brothers events.” report abuse

  “I can’t honestly say I’d recommend dealing with this company. They were incredibly shady – calling the day before an auction to ask about our credit and then altering the rules during the bidding process. They pulled a truck from the lineup and tried to pressure us into a phone bid without giving us a fair chance to see what others were offering. We bought two trucks, one immediately needed a $3,000 repair, and the other broke down on the way home and we’re still battling to get it working. Frankly, it felt like they were deliberately trying to take advantage of us. I won’t be doing business with them again.” report abuse
