“I can’t say enough good things about them! They were absolutely amazing this winter when we had trouble getting our Bobcat back to the shop. They not only let us store it there, but they even delivered it back to us free of charge – it’s incredibly rare to find a company so willing to go above and beyond, and they’re just wonderful people.”

“I really want to say how much I appreciated working with Craig Taylor and his team. They were incredibly helpful in getting our machine maintenance finished ahead of schedule – that was a huge relief.”

Honestly, I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. Dealing with the service, parts, and sales departments was a really frustrating process. The prices were shockingly high – far exceeding what I’ve paid at other dealerships in Alaska, and $300 for a single excavator tooth when local dealers were offering them for just $55 was completely unreasonable. Their labor and parts costs are also excessively high. I’m genuinely surprised this company is still operating, and I’m seriously considering selling all my equipment to avoid dealing with them again.

“We were really disappointed with our experience at Craig Taylor today. My wife and I went in around 11am on September 24th to look at lawn tractors for our new house – I’m recovering from back surgery, so we were hoping to get a tractor with a snow blade to help with winter and spring. But it felt completely ignored. No one even acknowledged us while we were looking, and people were just sitting at computers. We ended up going to Jewell Equipment instead, where they were incredibly helpful and accommodating, pulling out equipment and even arranging delivery. Honestly, it was a stark contrast – we really felt like Craig Taylor didn’t value our business.”

I just wanted to share my fantastic experience purchasing a JD compact tractor and attachments from Craig Taylor in Wasilla. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Cody was amazing – he took the time to patiently explain all the different models and what they could do, really helping me find the perfect equipment for our small farm. Cord continued to be a great resource, providing even more information, and Jennifer, the finance manager, handled all the paperwork with such efficiency and got me some really good financing terms. Honestly, I was a little nervous going into it as a newcomer, but everyone was so friendly and responsive to all my questions. I feel like I made a really smart investment and I wholeheartedly recommend Craig Taylor – they deserve all the praise!

Overall, my experience with Stihl has been really frustrating. I brought in my MS250 last fall to get a loose handle fixed, and thankfully, they didn’t find any actual damage. However, just this spring, the lower handle buffer broke, which completely stopped me from using the chainsaw. They told me they’d ordered a replacement part, but it took 43 days to arrive, and when I finally got updates, it turned out they’d ordered it from their shop stock – and hadn’t even created an invoice for it. The manager offered to charge me an extra $25 for expedited shipping, but with no guarantee, and ultimately, they said they were stuck waiting for Stihl. After driving over 50 miles to pick it up, I was told there was nothing they could do. I ended up getting a refund and ordered the same part from Amazon Prime, which includes four buffers and caps. It’s scheduled to arrive next week, but it’s been a huge hassle. It’s made me rethink my loyalty to Stihl – I think I’ll be heading to Husqvarna next time!

“I’ve been a loyal customer for three years, and I really appreciate the friendly customer service. However, my experiences with the mechanics themselves have been consistently disappointing. Time and time again, I’ve taken my equipment in for repairs or new parts, and it seems like they make things worse, or don’t fix the original issue at all. It’s frustrating because I live quite a distance away, and these trips take up a significant amount of my time – I’ve had to go back multiple times for the same problem within a month. Honestly, they’re good with the customer service, but you really need to be careful about letting their mechanics work on your equipment.”

“Unfortunately, my experience with this salesperson was incredibly disappointing. He seemed completely uninterested in my needs and lacked the drive to close a sale, which ultimately led me to walk away from a potential purchase of $3,500. I’ve since taken my business elsewhere.”

“I’ve been a customer of Craig Taylor for several years now, and I’ve been consistently impressed. The team is always so friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to anything I’ve needed. Plus, the John Deere equipment itself is incredibly efficient and reliable – it’s really performed well for me.”

“I wanted to give a huge shout-out to this company! As a 20-year sawyer, I’m pretty handy with my equipment and do all the maintenance myself. I needed a part for my 500i, and instead of just trying to sell me a new one, they took the time to walk me through how to fix the issue I was having. Seriously saved me a ton of money and time – really appreciate their honesty and willingness to help instead of just looking for a quick sale.”
