“We were so incredibly grateful for Knik Landscaping’s help with our big project! When we hit a roadblock, Jake and Dixie jumped right in and found a fantastic solution that allowed us to finish everything within the five-day deadline. Doug, our driver, was also fantastic – truly a pleasure to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend Knik Landscaping for any dirt or landscaping needs!”

“We were so relieved to close on our new home at the end of November, but unfortunately, a crawl space flood occurred at the end of January – thankfully we hadn’t yet moved in. Jake was fantastic throughout the whole process. Despite being out of state at the time, he kept us updated and promised to follow up as soon as he returned, and he did. He connected us with a really helpful team to handle every part of the repairs, and he personally excavated our foundation to the footings. We’re now just waiting for the hydroseed and fence installation, and I couldn't be happier – five stars!”

“I recently had a new home built, and I can’t say enough good things about Knik Landscaping. Jake and his team were involved from the very beginning, handling everything from clearing the lot and preparing the building site to the final landscaping touches. They were fantastic to work with and I wholeheartedly recommend them.”

“I hired Jake to do some work on my house, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. He initially presented himself as having a comprehensive set of tools – he mentioned ‘23 pieces’ – and was eager to begin. However, he completely failed to show up on the scheduled day and didn’t respond to my calls. When he finally contacted me via text, he claimed to have mechanical problems and then stated he wouldn’t be completing the project. It was a really unprofessional and frustrating situation.”

“I was incredibly impressed with this company! They offered a really honest and reasonable price for my septic system, and they were so helpful explaining everything I needed to do beforehand. Plus, they got the job done quickly – they measured and installed it all in a single day! I highly recommend them.”

“I hired Jake through a friend’s recommendation, but I wish I hadn’t. From the start, he was incredibly disorganized on the phone, which should have been a huge red flag. I decided to give him a chance because of the referral, but it was a really bad decision. He quoted me $170 per load, explaining that it included an hour of trucking time – which I thought was a bit high considering he was just across the street. Despite that, I went ahead and used his services. To my surprise, he got the job done incredibly quickly, hauling two loads in under 30 minutes. However, I quickly realized I’d been overcharged, and I told him to stop. I then contacted another hauler who offered a much better rate for a similar job, and it made me realize I’d been completely misled. A neighbor even told me Jake had done the same thing to him, costing him thousands! Luckily, I only lost out on $340, but it really highlighted how dishonest he was. It’s a valuable lesson – don’t take a quick, easy solution at face value, and definitely be wary of a price that seems too good to be true.”

“I had a really positive experience with Jake and his team. They were friendly, super knowledgeable, and got the job of clearing my property – brush and small trees – done incredibly quickly. I’d absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone.”

“I’ve been reading through the feedback about Jake and his Gravel Pit service, and honestly, it seems like a lot of the reviews are based on misunderstandings. It appears some people didn’t do their research and weren’t clear on their budget or what they were expecting in terms of value. While I understand frustration when things don’t go as planned, Jake has been completely upfront and honest about his work and pricing, which I really appreciate. I think it’s unfair to place blame when people haven’t taken the time to investigate their options. I personally met Jake and his team, and I found them to be outstanding. Let’s be realistic – things happen, schedules get disrupted, and accidents can occur. It’s not Jake’s fault if a driver makes a mistake, especially considering the size and weight of the trucks involved. Ultimately, I think it’s important for everyone to do their homework and manage expectations.”

“Dawn Horner, a realtor, highly recommends Jake. She was particularly impressed with his dedication and willingness to go the extra mile to help us with our septic replacement project, and he successfully managed to meet our deadlines. We’d definitely use his services again.”
-
“I was incredibly impressed with the whole process. Everything was handled so professionally, and I couldn’t be happier with the service – especially the fact that they completed the new septic system from start to finish in just one day!”
