  Overall, the crew did a really efficient job getting the driveway installed quickly. However, we experienced some issues with the installation itself – particularly around the basketball hoop and the grass area – and those haven’t been properly addressed. The biggest concern, though, was the office’s lack of follow-through. We were initially told the repairs would be completed within a specific timeframe, but we ended up waiting two extra days, and even then, we’re still seeing tire marks and other damage they promised to fix. It was incredibly frustrating that they repeatedly scheduled visits to resolve the problems but never actually showed up. I was really disappointed with this experience and found it to be quite unprofessional. report abuse

  I couldn't be happier with the work A-1 did on our driveway. From start to finish, it was outstanding – truly exceeded our expectations. Nate Eardmans was fantastic to work with; he was professional, attentive, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the final result.   “Overall, we’re really happy with the final result – the driveway looks fantastic! We chose this company because they were so responsive initially, and the salesperson was prompt and helpful. We got several quotes, and they stood out. However, things got a little tricky once we sent in our deposit. There were a lot of communication hiccups, with me having to chase them repeatedly to confirm receipt of our documents and get updates on the scheduling. It took several calls to get a firm date for the installation, and we even had to reschedule due to a missed appointment. Despite these frustrating communication issues, everyone at the office was incredibly polite and professional, and they genuinely tried to help. Honestly, it feels like there’s a breakdown in how they’re coordinating things – someone really needs to review their process to streamline the communication.” report abuse

  Overall, we were really pleased with the work A-1 Asphalt did on our driveway. They did a fantastic job – the crew was incredibly professional and the quality of their work was excellent. We especially noticed a big improvement in the drainage, which was previously an issue, and is now working much better thanks to their work. Bud, who handled our initial consultation, was also a great guy – honest and straightforward. We’d definitely recommend A-1 Asphalt to anyone. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the work this company did on our driveway. They started the job during a ten-day period of constant rain, and despite me warning them about an impending downpour just an hour before they arrived, they proceeded anyway. Naturally, after only six minutes of work, it started pouring! Now they’re refusing to fully address the problem and are threatening to put a lien on our property. We’ve been trying to get them to properly fix the driveway for months – leaving multiple calls and emails with no response from management – and their continued refusal to take responsibility is completely unacceptable. We’ve always paid our contractors promptly, and we’re very concerned about their tactics. I strongly advise anyone considering using this company to proceed with extreme caution. report abuse
