  “We hired Cruz and Sons back in 2018 when we moved into our beautiful old colonial, and we couldn’t be happier with the work they did. They expertly handled the removal of our old carpets and the refinishing of the original hardwood floors – the results are fantastic and still look amazing years later! We were really impressed with how fair their quote was, how quickly they completed the job, and just how skilled and knowledgeable they were.   I was absolutely thrilled with the work that was done on my floors! Given that my house was built in 1929, I knew the hardwood would have its challenges. He expertly addressed the gaps and imperfections in my first floor and the winding staircase – it’s a really unique space with varying shapes and sizes. The finished result is just amazing, and I’m so impressed with his professionalism, timeliness, and the superb quality of his work.   “We hired this contractor back in April, and unfortunately, five months later the job is still far from complete. Honestly, given his frequent job changes and the subpar quality of his work, we’re not even particularly eager to see it finished. We’ve had to chase him repeatedly to complete the initial tasks, and he didn’t even leave the space in a presentable condition – there are air bubbles in the floor that needed leveling, which we were willing to cover the cost of. Despite that, he proceeded to lay flooring over the uneven surface. We’ll now need to bring in another contractor to properly complete the work, and we were also uncomfortable with him taking so many photos and videos of our home.” report abuse

  “We absolutely loved working with Cruz and Sons Hardwood Flooring – especially Josue. He clearly takes immense pride in his work, and it really shows in the stunning quality of our new floors. We initially hired him to complete two bedrooms in September 2022, and were so impressed that we then asked him to finish our entire entry, kitchen, living room, and dining room in July 2023. He even went above and beyond by expertly restoring our hallway floor, which had been previously done by another contractor, sanding and refinishing it to perfectly match the new floors. The attention to detail is incredible – there aren’t a single sanding mark or speck of dust, and the finished result is just beautiful! Honestly, we told our original contractor that we’d only use Cruz and Sons, and he’s now using them on some of his jobs too. Josue is a truly professional and meticulous craftsman.” report abuse
