  Overall, I was extremely pleased with the work Whitehall did replacing my propane water heater. They provided the best pricing after getting several quotes, and we ultimately went with a tankless system. The job itself was quite complex, and I really appreciated how smoothly everything went thanks to Laura, the General Manager. She was fantastic to work with – professional and responsive throughout the entire process, from the initial proposal and contract to scheduling and payment. The experienced technician who came out to plan the job was excellent, and the two installers put in a real effort, even returning the next day to finalize some of the details. The finished product is truly impressive: it’s functional, beautifully neat, and professionally done, with every little detail taken care of. They also left the work area spotless – exactly how I expect skilled tradespeople to operate. The work was incredibly fast and efficient, and surprisingly affordable – way less than I anticipated. Most importantly, the quality of the repair is top-notch.   “I recently had WhitehallHydronics install a new water heater expansion tank, drip pan, and leak alarm at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. They were incredibly professional and kept the work area spotless, maintaining a five-foot clear zone. They expertly installed a recirculation line to all my fixtures, taking care to lay down drop cloths throughout the process. Once everything was installed, the installer stayed to thoroughly bleed the air from the water piping system and meticulously tested each fixture to ensure everything was working perfectly. The whole job was done with a high level of care and attention to detail, and the price was very fair.   I can’t recommend these guys enough! They’re truly the best plumbing service I’ve ever used. Laura, Jackie, and Z Mike were fantastic – so helpful and knowledgeable, and they really took the time to explain everything clearly.   “I had a small leak in my water heater’s copper pipe, and I contacted the office first thing in the morning. They were incredibly responsive and got me scheduled for the same day. The technicians did a fantastic job – they replaced the copper with PVC, which should really prevent any future problems, and they were both really professional and kept the area very clean.   Rich was scheduled to repair my water heater under warranty, but unfortunately the situation escalated dramatically. He accidentally broke the expansion tank during the repair and then aggressively pressured me to pay for the damage, despite it being covered by the warranty. When I refused, he became argumentative and, ultimately, I had to threaten to call the police to have him leave my property. It was incredibly unprofessional and quite concerning. report abuse
