  Cody’s been a real lifesaver for me! He’s come out twice now to tackle a couple of specific issues – first a water pressure problem and a leaky hose faucet in the fall, and then he investigated a leak around the jacuzzi. Thankfully, it turned out to be something simple, and he was able to fix it just in time. I’ve really appreciated having him come over and help keep things running smoothly around the house, and I’d definitely recommend him. report abuse

  “I recently had a garbage disposal installed by Scheid, and honestly, I was extremely disappointed with the price. The total bill came to nearly $700, which felt completely outrageous. When I asked for a detailed breakdown of the costs, I was told they don’t provide itemized bills. I compared the disposal itself to prices at local stores, and even with a significant markup, the installation cost was far too high. While the service person was friendly, I won’t be calling Scheid again. I’m so sorry, but their prices are way too expensive – I’ll definitely be recommending others to look elsewhere.” report abuse

  “I wanted to share an amazing experience with Scheid Plumbing Heating & Cooling. I was out on a long river trip on the Muskegon River when my wife called with a problem – no hot water! Luckily, Scheid answered right away and, incredibly, they had a technician nearby. They were able to fix the issue in just two hours, which was a huge relief.   I honestly couldn’t be more thrilled with Scheid Plumbing. Last Saturday, August 10th, I was over 300 miles away in Illinois when my daughter called me in a panic – a leaking pipe was destroying my kitchen floor at our lake house near Mears. I tried my usual plumber, but they didn’t return my call. Scheid responded immediately with a plumber who arrived within 90 minutes, fixing the problem on a Saturday night! The service was fantastic, and the charge was fair. To top it all off, I received an email with a copy of the invoice right away. It’s rare to find a company that provides such responsive and reliable service. I’m now a loyal customer and will definitely be using Scheid for all my plumbing needs – both evenings and during the week! report abuse

  Dan was fantastic – he arrived within just a couple of hours after I called, which was incredibly fast. He was really friendly and professional, quickly identified and fixed the issue, and even double-checked to make sure everything was working perfectly before he left.   “I was completely shocked when my water line burst in the ceiling of my cottage on a Friday night – it was a total mess! But I was so impressed with Cody from Scheid Plumbing.   I was incredibly disappointed with this company. They initially told me they couldn't provide a quote until they physically inspected the job, and once they arrived, they overcharged us. Following up on the bill was a nightmare – I had to call four times, and the owner was completely unresponsive, never taking my calls or returning them. Honestly, the whole experience was unprofessional and frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. report abuse
