  Genevieve and her team did an absolutely fantastic job! From the initial quote to the final completion, they were professional and efficient. They arrived promptly, got straight to work, and even the owner, Robert, was involved, which was great. Within just five hours, they completely replaced our old driveway with a new gravel base and asphalt, incorporating a slight pitch for proper drainage – a really thoughtful detail.   “My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the work Driveways By Heap did for us. From the very beginning, Genevieve was fantastic – so responsive and helpful with the initial estimate and kept us updated throughout the whole process. We had a really frustrating experience with a previous contractor, and Genevieve and Jaime in the office were incredibly understanding and patient as we dealt with the delay. Once we decided to move forward, Genevieve quickly scheduled the team, and they were absolutely amazing! Bob, the owner, was also on-site and was really involved, working alongside his team. My grandson was fascinated by the trucks, and the crew even took a few minutes to wave and make him smile – it was a really special touch. The driveway replacement and extension turned out even better than we’d hoped – we’ve now got enough space for at least five, maybe six vehicles!   Overall, I’m pleased with the driveway Heap did – it’s a really good size and mostly looks fantastic. However, it wasn’t a completely smooth process. There were a couple of issues that were frustrating. Initially, when they finished, they realized one section wasn’t sloped correctly, so water was running off to the side instead of flowing into the street. Bob promised to come back the next day to fix it after working for a neighbor, but he never returned. It was mid-April, and I ended up waiting weeks for a resolution. Thankfully, John eventually came out and did a great job sealing the edges with the stone dust, which was a really appreciated fix. Despite these hiccups, the team were genuinely friendly and nice people. It’s great that most of the work is done well, but the broken promises were a real disappointment – I expected more reliability. report abuse

  “I’ve been incredibly frustrated with this company. I’ve been trying to get a simple driveway seal coating done for the past four months, and it’s been a complete nightmare. I’ve been getting vague promises – ‘maybe this Saturday,’ ‘next couple of weeks,’ or ‘when we’re in the area’ – with no concrete dates. Honestly, it’s unbelievable how difficult it is to get a simple estimate or timeline. And to add to that, when they finally did come out to address a small issue with the original work, it felt like a huge hassle, and the repair itself looked very basic – something I could have easily done myself. It’s disappointing to support a small business like this and receive such poor service.” report abuse
