“I was incredibly impressed with my experience with Michigan Window And Door. They were so professional, and I’d definitely order more windows from them in the future. The installers I had were fantastic – truly excellent work, and my house is already feeling so much more energy-efficient thanks to their installation of the Windsor windows. Highly recommend!”

“We were absolutely thrilled with our experience working with Michigan Window & Door. They took a huge weight off our shoulders, handling everything from the initial design to dealing with all the tricky city regulations and permits. Amy Crotty and her team were fantastic – incredibly helpful and made the whole process so smooth. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering window replacement!”

Amy Crotty was fantastic – she really went above and beyond to assist us and offered some brilliant design advice. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions, and we’ll definitely be using her services again for any future window or door projects. We wholeheartedly recommend her.

We were absolutely thrilled with our new front door – it’s completely transformed the look of our house! The team did a fantastic job, and we especially appreciated how quickly they addressed a minor issue that arose (which wasn’t their fault, of course). They were super responsive and made sure we were completely satisfied with the final result.

I’m incredibly disappointed with this company’s handling of a serious issue with our windows. We’ve discovered a moisture problem in two of the windows in our newly built condo – constructed in 2014 – which means the seals have failed. Frankly, this isn’t a huge deal unless you’re stuck dealing with this company to get a warranty repair. However, despite multiple attempts to get confirmation that the windows would be replaced under warranty, we’ve received absolutely no response or written documentation. This is incredibly frustrating and concerning, especially as our condo is currently on the market. The windows failed inspection due to this unresolved issue, and it’s jeopardizing our sale. It’s unacceptable that they haven’t honored their warranty agreement, and I’m giving them zero stars.

“I was really disappointed with the work this company did. My builder recommended them, but I’ve had a series of issues since they installed the screens. The screen door doesn’t lock, the bedroom windows only open a little bit, and most of the screens are warped. I was promised a functioning back door screen and new bedroom windows, but it’s been over six months and I’ve heard nothing. Frankly, I feel like I was given false assurances and I’m incredibly frustrated, especially considering I paid a significant amount for this project. Please get back to me as soon as you have a concrete plan to address these problems.”

Honestly, I was really disappointed with this contractor. The builder recommended them for my new home, and I didn’t have any other options, but a leak developed in my window after just a year. When I contacted them, they essentially said my warranty was expired and wouldn’t help. They promised to “look into it” after seeing some photos, but they never followed up or even called. It’s frustrating that after only a year, they weren't willing to stand behind their work – I wouldn't recommend them if you’re looking for a company that prioritizes customer service and actually gets things done.

“This company has a really impressive range of materials, which is great. However, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of some of their products – specifically, the renewal work seemed incredibly cheap, using sawdust and vinyl. It was clear the joints weren't properly secured, and I heard a customer had a major issue with a 3-year-old bronze window that had completely faded and even developed plants growing between the panes. Worse still, they refused to honor the warranty!”
-
“I was really impressed with how knowledgeable they were, and the installation went incredibly smoothly. I’d definitely recommend them to others.”

Honestly, my experience with Michigan Windows and Doors has been incredibly frustrating. They initially responded to my warranty request in early August, but it’s now almost seven months later and nothing has been resolved. After multiple promises and delays, they finally sent the wrong parts twice – and it took weeks just to get the correct order each time. I spoke to the manager several times, hoping for a solution, but the constant shifting dates and lack of communication were unacceptable. Now that winter is here, they’re scheduling appointments to fix a problem that’s been dragging on for months. It’s completely unacceptable that they haven't offered any compensation for the significant inconvenience and wasted time. I’m seriously considering taking my business elsewhere and I wanted to warn others – avoid Michigan Windows and Doors.
