  “Overall, my experience with BHC Surveying Company was good – they really focused on getting the pin placement just right, and the team were consistently polite and helpful. However, I was a little frustrated with the pricing. I initially got an estimate of $950, which seemed reasonable, but then the final contract arrived at over $3,000. I questioned the difference, and was told it was standard, so I signed it. Unfortunately, the invoice I received afterwards was also over $3,000, and it took several attempts to get anyone to understand my concerns.   “We had a really frustrating experience with Mark. From the start, the process felt incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. Our initial contract in November 2021 stipulated 30 days for the survey, but we repeatedly contacted him and received little to no updates. He seemed to lose track of our paperwork and often didn’t recognize us when we called. Adding to the problem, we were charged the highest possible price for the survey, despite him only doing the bare minimum work – we had to practically push him to complete it. Then, shockingly, he wasn’t aware that the county required a platting, which he should have known about from the beginning. This added even more time to the project, and the quoted price for the platting was significantly inflated – we ended up being charged 1.5 times the original estimate. When we raised concerns about the bill, he became aggressive and disconnected the call. Ultimately, the entire project took nine months to finish, and we felt completely taken advantage of.” report abuse

  “Savoy was definitely pricier than other companies we looked at, but honestly, the team we worked with made a really good impression – they felt like they genuinely cared about their customers. They were quick to address the recent FEMA flood map changes and everything went smoothly. However, things took a turn when I received the bill. The details were incredibly confusing, and I called to get clarification. It ended up requiring a separate surveyor to explain the charges, and I was promised a follow-up phone call, but I never heard from anyone. To make matters worse, I found markings on my house after returning from work with no explanation. It just felt like my situation and family weren’t a priority for them – like they were more concerned with collecting their payment.” report abuse
