I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience renting a man lift from this place. The equipment had a completely failed brake, and the operator didn’t bother to properly demonstrate how to prevent it – essentially, he left me to deal with a dangerous situation. As a result, the lift went downhill, and I ended up paying for a wrecker service. Honestly, it felt completely irresponsible of them to provide faulty equipment and then expect me to cover the cost. They didn’t seem to care about the potential for serious damage, or how this reflects on my business. It was like they were only concerned with whether *I* would pay, despite the obvious failure of their equipment. The whole thing was negligent, and frankly, terrifying. Someone could have been seriously hurt or killed, and the operator dismissed my concerns with the incredibly dismissive comment about insurance. Maintenance is what’s needed here, not just relying on insurance to clean up the mess. I'm disputing the charges and invoicing them for the wrecker and the damage. I won't be paying for broken equipment, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid renting from this place – their equipment clearly isn't maintained, and it's a serious safety risk.
