“I really enjoyed working with Bob and the Vanguard team. They did a fantastic job replacing the fireline and hydrants, and they were incredibly responsive when some unexpected underground issues came up. They handled the situation quickly and efficiently, staying within budget – I’d definitely recommend them.”

I’m extremely disappointed with the service we’ve received. We hired this company to repair a sprinkler system that had gone off, and frankly, it’s been a nightmare. They initially quoted us over $19,000, and we’ve already paid nearly $32,000, with continued issues arising – persistent leaks and tile staining. Now they're billing us another $2,000 to address problems they should have resolved initially. We’ve exceeded the original quote by 50%, and the ongoing problems suggest a serious lack of quality workmanship. It feels like they’re simply trying to extract more money from us without taking responsibility. Based on our experience, I strongly advise against working with this company. Their Google review rating reflects this, and it’s significantly lower than the excellent service we’ve received from our other vendor.

I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly, furious with this company. I commissioned a fire suppression system for my restaurant for $5,500, and was assured it would be completed, including all necessary permits, within ten days. It’s now been eight weeks since my initial appointment, and I haven’t heard anything. They’ve completely stopped responding to my calls – they’ve blocked my number. I’m left with no way to reach them and have been forced to dispute this with my lawyer. Their lack of communication and professionalism is appalling. It’s clear they’re young and inexperienced, and they’ve wasted my time and money. On top of that, they didn't have the proper equipment to do the job correctly, and they insisted I hire my own electrician. I've lost a significant amount of money dealing with them, and I strongly advise anyone considering this company to stay far away – they’re simply not worth the trouble. I’ve seen numerous similar complaints online and through the Better Business Bureau, and I'm actively pursuing legal action.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this company. Considering the cost of their services, the quality of work was simply not worth the price. I had a really frustrating experience, particularly with our manager, Joe Opatic. He misrepresented the initial pricing and then couldn’t adequately explain the charges on the final invoice. He seemed unwilling to find a solution that would satisfy us, and frankly, it felt like his fault that the situation escalated. Beyond the price, there was a lack of professionalism – they seemed completely unfamiliar with our location, despite being the company responsible for our annual fire sprinkler system maintenance. They wasted multiple visits, and then tried to bill me for something that was ultimately their responsibility to have addressed beforehand. I ultimately paid the bill, but I will absolutely not be using this company again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

“I used this contractor for support with a longstanding client, but the communication was completely unacceptable. After weeks of us reaching out with no response, they went straight to my client themselves. It was incredibly unprofessional and frankly, a joke. Looking back, we definitely should have checked out their online reviews before engaging them.”

This company seems to be seriously lacking in reliability and value. Several reviewers have expressed frustration with late appointments and what appears to be inflated pricing – it’s clear they’re not delivering a satisfactory service.
