  After three years, I’m unfortunately reducing my rating of Zen Associates to one star. The initial project went well, and I appreciated Jon’s helpfulness, but the problems really started with the plants. Half of what they recommended and installed just didn’t thrive, even with the drip irrigation system, and the bluestone patio they installed is now uneven and unstable. I’m now having to redo that area. I reached out to Offshoots, and the difference is incredible! They created a proper design plan based on our property plans – nothing like the basic drawing Zen Associates gave me. They even discovered that Zen had planted beyond our property lines. Offshoots properly assessed our soil and explained why the original plants wouldn't work, and they're starting the project next year. I’ll be sharing before-and-after photos. Initially, I gave Zen a three-star rating because we were still waiting for them to fix the lawn and reinstall the electrical box after four months. We also use them for their maintenance, and while they do a good job, they’ve left tools and debris on our lawn for days before picking it up. It’s clear they're stretched too thin, and that’s why I’m switching to Offshoots for future projects. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with this landscaping company. The workers were unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable with their behavior, and frankly, it was inappropriate. To add to the problem, they never completed the work after billing me. It was a truly terrible experience.” report abuse
