  Shawn and the whole team at American Home Improvement were absolutely fantastic – they completely transformed our new house into a beautiful, comfortable space that we truly love. From the very beginning, Shawn was so attentive and helpful, really taking the time to understand what we wanted and offering brilliant suggestions that not only achieved our vision but also saved us money. He tackled everything with such care and precision, including upgrading our electrical panel (which gives us so much flexibility for the future), installing the dryer plugs, weather-proofing our deck, fixing the water damage under the subfloor, and even doing a gorgeous makeover of our fireplace. The new laminate flooring and baseboards look amazing, and the fresh paint has really elevated the whole house. Honestly, a month later, my husband and I are just thrilled with the quality of the work and how much more comfortable and enjoyable our home feels. From the very beginning, the team was fantastic – really friendly and professional, and they took the time to really get to know what I wanted. They worked with me to design a kitchen that completely blew me away. Throughout the whole process, communication was amazing; they kept me fully in the loop and were always open and honest about everything. The quality of their work, especially with the custom cabinets and the materials they chose, was just outstanding. Honestly, the kitchen they created is beautiful and incredibly functional – it’s exactly what I hoped for and more. But what really made the difference was the team’s attitude. They were so approachable and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was happy with the result.   This company completely failed to meet any reasonable standards. From the outset, the salespeople were misleading, using deceptive tactics to push a very expensive contract. We were told they only employed their own staff, but it quickly became clear they were relying heavily on subcontractors. The project took an unacceptable amount of time – months over schedule – and the quality of the work was shockingly poor. We’re left with a disastrous mess in our attic and crawlspace, including serious plumbing issues and incorrectly installed windows that are letting in water. Worse, they’ve completely disregarded the promised 1-year warranty, demanding we pay to have another professional fix their own mistakes. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. report abuse

  Jack and American Home Improvement were absolutely fantastic! A friend recommended him to us when we had a leak in our roof, and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. He was incredibly responsive and kept us fully informed throughout the entire process. The workers were so efficient and professional, and the quality of their work is just outstanding – I was really impressed with how quickly they got it done. We especially appreciated how careful they were, ensuring the work didn’t disrupt our tenant. But it didn’t stop there! A couple of weeks later, we had a serious plumbing emergency, and Jack got someone out to our place the same day. They quickly fixed the problem, and it was done both effectively and at a really reasonable price.   Overall, our recent bathroom remodel with American Home Improvement was a really positive experience. We were initially a little concerned when our original project manager, Raffy, became difficult to reach, but David and Selvin stepped in and did a fantastic job keeping us updated and coordinating everything. The team was incredibly skilled – they expertly removed the old bathroom and installed all the new tiles, fixtures, and even handled some extra requests like installing new ductwork for our ceiling fan and a pull-down attic ladder. David was particularly helpful, always quick to answer our questions and even generously replaced the original fans we’d purchased ourselves. However, we did find ourselves a bit lost at the beginning when Raffy wasn’t available to offer design advice. We’d hoped for some guidance on colors and decor, but ultimately had to do all the research and shopping ourselves. Despite that early miscommunication, we’re really happy with the final result and we feel confident that we can always reach out to David at AHI if we need anything in the future. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with the solar panels Nick from Nick Bar and AHI installed for me. From the start, Nick was incredibly honest and helpful, and I really appreciated his integrity throughout the whole project. It’s important to note that getting approval from Southern California Edison took a significant amount of time – several months – but AHI remained reliable and efficient, and the installation itself was done quickly and with a really high level of professionalism.
