  “I honestly couldn’t be happier with the work Mike and his team at Remodel or Renew did on our backyard deck. I’ve used a lot of contractors over the years, and they truly stood out. From the initial quote to the final result, it was the best experience I’ve had. Mike was fantastic – he came out the same day to give us a competitive price, and you could tell he was genuinely enthusiastic about the project. They started almost immediately, and the whole team was incredibly hardworking and detail-oriented. They showed up early every day and went above and beyond, especially considering our large, two-level deck with a built-in bar.   Overall, our experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. While the deck itself is well-built and sturdy, which is a definite plus, the entire process was a major headache. They were significantly more expensive than other quotes we received, and unfortunately, the quality of their work was inconsistent. The carpenters were genuinely nice and hardworking, despite not speaking English, but there were significant communication issues – it seemed the salesperson wasn’t keeping the project manager informed. We had a particularly bad experience with the door installation; it was done terribly, with noticeable gaps, and they never followed through on fixing it. The salesperson also made a poor decision regarding the window placement, requiring some heated discussion to resolve, and even then, the window isn’t perfectly centered. Adding to the problems, they were incredibly wasteful, throwing away massive amounts of materials – concrete mix, lumber, and even expensive railing kits – and they completely neglected the cleanup, leaving us with a considerable mess. Ultimately, we didn't finish on good terms, and the negative experience overshadowed the positive aspect of the deck itself. report abuse

  Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with the screened porch addition we had built this spring. We've spent countless wonderful hours enjoying it this summer, and we consistently comment on how fantastic the team did a job.   Overall, we were really pleased with Remodel or Renew Home Improvement. We spent a month getting quotes from several contractors, and while some were close in price, one stood out as significantly more expensive due to their brand name and aggressive sales approach. Ultimately, we went with Remodel or Renew because of their genuine professionalism and the care they took during the bidding process – that translated directly into a fantastic installation. They tackled our 16x16 deck project with TREX and finished it in just a week, including all the necessary inspections.   “I was absolutely thrilled with the work this team did on my property – it was a really complex project, nearly a quarter of a million dollars, and they exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, Tim was fantastic, taking the time to walk me through all the paver options and patiently explaining the heated walkway system.
