  “This studio is a real gem! It’s surprisingly spacious inside, much bigger than it appears from the street. They have a great selection of art, handcrafted items, and local Alaskan goods – you’ll definitely find something special. While some things you might see elsewhere, there are a few truly unique pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a fantastic place to get a genuine taste of Alaska, far better than some of the more crowded tourist spots. Just be aware that it can get a little warm during the summer months.” report abuse

  “We had such a lovely time browsing this shop – they had a really great selection of Alaskan goods and we ended up buying some wonderful gifts for the girls. The two young women working there were so sweet and helpful. We especially enjoyed looking at the art and were totally charmed by the otters wearing clothes – my wife almost bought one, and I think she’ll be kicking herself she didn’t!” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I bought five pairs of earrings over the last year from this store – three separate times – and was repeatedly assured by the employees that they were genuine gold. Unfortunately, they quickly tarnished, and when I contacted the store, the employee who’d initially helped me seemed to know exactly who I was talking about, yet she couldn’t offer a return because I paid cash and there wasn’t a record. It was unbelievable to be accused of theft after they’d misled me about the product’s quality. To add insult to injury, I’m actually allergic to metals and these earrings caused a severe reaction. I’m completely wasting my money and I won’t be returning here again. Seriously, buyer beware! report abuse
