“We recently purchased a John Deere X354 mowing tractor from Craig Taylor Equipment in Anchorage, and overall, our experience was positive thanks to Craig’s excellent communication and the timely delivery. The financing process was also quite smooth. However, we were really disappointed with the $1185 setup fee they charged. They told my husband it was required to get the tractor ready, but when we took it for the first time, the tire pressures were all wrong and the mowing deck hadn't been leveled properly – which is the most important thing! It felt like the setup was just a quick run-through, and they missed several key things that should have been explained to us as the new owner. We think Craig Taylor could benefit from implementing a standard checklist to ensure everything is thoroughly reviewed with new customers.”

“I recently visited Craig Taylor and was really impressed with the service I received. I had a lot of questions about some John Deere mowers, and Keith Roberson went above and beyond to answer them all patiently and thoroughly. He didn’t rush me at all and even printed out some information and emailed me details I needed. It’s so refreshing to find a salesperson who is knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely wants to ensure you get the right equipment. They have some fantastic options, including a zero-turn mower that looks just like the ZTRAK line, and it can even handle up to 3.5 acres on a single charge! I’d definitely recommend talking to Keith about anything John Deere – he seems like a real expert.”

Jamie was fantastic to work with – truly a pleasure! As a first-time tractor buyer, I felt completely supported through the entire process, and she consistently kept me informed. I’m a busy business owner and I know good service when I see it, and Jamie definitely delivered. The mechanics and sales team were also excellent. I did my research and found the perfect tractor, box scraper, backhoe, and snow blower, and I’m incredibly happy with my purchases and the price. I wholeheartedly recommend Craig Taylor – I’d buy from him again without hesitation.

I had a really frustrating experience with this shop and wouldn’t recommend them, especially if you have an older machine like mine. I brought in my 1974 Bobcat, and the technicians seemed completely lost when it came to diagnosing issues with machines that use a distributor. They assured me they could handle replacing the distributor, but that turned out to be a complete fabrication – they couldn’t get it running and essentially stumped themselves. They initially quoted me $1400, which was outrageous, and we eventually settled on just over $400, which I still felt was too much, as I provided the distributor myself. The worst part was they’d already messed with the distributor, setting it off by 40 degrees! It only took me a little time to fix it myself after the machine had been sitting for four years and was running perfectly before I hauled it in. Honestly, if you’re dealing with an older machine, steer clear of this place – they clearly don’t have the expertise.”

“I can’t recommend this place to anyone. We brought our mower in for a repair, and ended up paying $166 that didn’t fix anything. It took weeks for them to even start working on it, and after promising a quick fix, they suddenly claimed it was a warranty issue and needed new parts. We waited weeks more with no updates, and couldn't even get a phone call back. We finally had to involve Honda corporate just to get any information. After weeks of waiting, the mower was finally working, and then they blamed Honda and refused to reimburse us the $166 – even though it was clearly their mistake. They only offered us $43 for the actual repair. Honestly, the service manager was completely unresponsive, and the company’s COO seems to have no understanding of customer service. I’ll never go back, and I strongly advise everyone I know to avoid this place to prevent a similar frustrating and time-consuming experience.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. Don, the service manager, was consistently rude and seemed completely unable to handle our simple repair. We brought in our bobcat door for glass replacement, and he ignored it for three days before claiming we didn’t have the correct glass, despite it being right there. After a two-and-a-half-hour wait for what was supposed to be a one-hour job, he informed us the door frame was damaged and couldn’t be repaired. To add insult to injury, when I questioned his initial statement, he became incredibly aggressive, yelling and pointing at me from behind the counter. It was the most unprofessional and disrespectful service I’ve ever received. It seems our friend’s warning about their service being unreliable was unfortunately accurate.”

“I’m really pleased with my new Honda snowblower – they even delivered it to me since I couldn’t get it myself. However, this year it wasn’t performing as well as I’d hoped. After a bit of troubleshooting, the delivery guy quickly diagnosed the problem – the shear bolts had broken! Luckily, I happened to have some spares that came with the machine, and he fixed it right there and then. It was a really efficient and helpful service.”

“I was really impressed with this Stihl location. The staff were incredibly helpful and clearly knew their products well, and they had a fantastic range of Stihl equipment. What really stood out was their commitment to safety – they were taking all the right precautions, which felt really reassuring.”

“I was incredibly impressed with Craig Taylor Equipment Co.! I walked in with a lot of questions and needed some parts, and they went above and beyond to help me out. Even though it was late on a Friday, they worked together seamlessly to get exactly what I needed, patiently answering all my questions. What really stood out was their willingness to stay until I was completely finished, considering I don’t live nearby. They even helped me load everything into my truck – truly outstanding service!”

“I was really disappointed with the shipping charge – it turned out to be for expired shipping, and unfortunately, UPS and CTE didn’t manage to sort it out quickly for me.”
