  I’m really disappointed with my recent purchase of a Kubota tractor and accessories from ESI. After just under 30 hours of use, I’ve run into a series of problems that suggest a serious issue with the assembly and quality control. The first thing that struck me was the box blade attachment – the cotter pin was installed in a way that made it incredibly difficult to adjust, requiring me to remove several large bolts to fix it. It was a frustrating and unnecessary repair on brand-new equipment. Shortly after that, one of the tires started losing air rapidly, and ESI directed me to a tire shop. They quickly identified a bad weld between the tire’s rim and center disc, which was clearly a manufacturing defect. While ESI did cover the repair cost, their service team seemed more interested in shifting the blame to a minor scratch on the tire – a scratch they insisted would have “shredded” the tire, even though the tire itself was still usable. Finally, I discovered a hydraulic fluid leak caused by a loose fitting. ESI essentially brushed it off, saying it’s “just the nature of owning a tractor,” but with so few hours of use, it felt like they weren’t taking my concerns seriously. Talking to other tractor owners confirmed my feeling – this kind of problem so early on is simply not normal. Overall, my experience with ESI’s service department was concerning. They seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility than providing proper support. I was expecting reliable equipment and helpful service, and instead, I’ve had to fight to get these issues addressed. While Kubota has a good name, my experience with ESI suggests that doesn't always translate into quality or customer service. I'd definitely advise anyone considering buying from them to do your research and be prepared to stand up for yourself. report abuse
