  “I bought a Cat 236D skid steer from NC Machinery back in March 2019, and I don’t anticipate purchasing another new Cat product. Despite not being a regular commercial buyer, I was really impressed with the service I received afterward. Josh was fantastic – he came to my property to walk me through the operation and maintenance, and he was incredibly thorough, efficient, and professional.   “We were really hoping to explore Cat equipment for our operations, potentially adding 10-12 machines over the next couple of years, and Cat’s current skid steer track loaders certainly caught our attention. However, the entire process was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. We requested a demo, but were repeatedly told by the sales manager that it wasn’t approved. To demonstrate our serious interest, we even brought our own materials to their yard, only to be told the demo was suddenly okay. Then, after waiting weeks, we were finally given a date to pick up the machine, but just five minutes after we received the approval, we were informed it had already been sold. It felt like a deliberate tactic, and frankly, incredibly disrespectful. As a business owner, I expect a straightforward and helpful sales process, not this kind of obstacle course. I’m seriously reconsidering purchasing from NC Machinery with this level of management oversight.” report abuse
