“I was extremely disappointed with my experience trying to get a quote for Marvin windows. I contacted them three times and spent a significant amount of time – nearly fifteen minutes – on the phone with an employee who was located out of state. Despite her efforts, she couldn’t provide me with an accurate cost estimate and, frustratingly, never followed up. I received no replies or callbacks whatsoever, despite being promised they would. Honestly, it seemed like they couldn't even manage basic communication, and I wouldn't recommend them based on this experience.”

I was incredibly frustrated with Summit Windows and Doors. I’d used them a few years ago for a small project, and it went smoothly, but when I recently needed to replace all the doors in my house, the experience was a complete disaster. I placed my order in September and paid the full amount, only to receive the doors in mid-October. From that point on, I repeatedly contacted them trying to arrange a pickup for my old doors, but they were completely unresponsive. It felt like I was constantly getting the runaround, and by mid-November I was seriously worried they wouldn’t fulfill their obligation. Ultimately, I ended up taking the doors myself and fixing them – it turned out they hadn’t even ordered all the doors I’d requested. It seems like Summit uses long lead times as a way to avoid accountability for their poor organization. I wasted three months waiting for something I never received, and it felt like my needs were completely ignored while they prioritized larger customers. I was thankfully able to get a full refund.

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Curtis and Josh at Summit Doors. They were fantastic – even when we made a bit of a mess on our end, they were incredibly helpful, came by to assess the situation, and worked with us to find a great solution. We’ll definitely be reaching out to them again in the future.”

“I’m incredibly frustrated with this whole experience. I paid the full price for a window, only to find it was completely constructed incorrectly – the dimensions were reversed. After they attempted to fix it and essentially rebuilt it, they then demanded I pay for another full window. Needless to say, I still don’t have the window and haven’t received any resolution or refund.”
-
“I was really impressed with their professionalism and the quality of the windows they offered. I was lucky enough to snag the triple pane window deal last month – a fantastic offer, and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it again next summer.”
-
“I’d been a happy Summit Windows and Doors customer back when I built my house about ten years ago. Recently, I ran into some trouble with the locking mechanisms on my windows, and I contacted Summit to see about getting new hardware. To my surprise, they said it was covered under warranty and not only provided the new hardware, but even arranged for a repair company in Anchorage to install it – completely free of charge!”
-
“I was really pleased with the service and the quality of the windows. They did a fantastic job building them to my exact measurements – perfect for my remodel!”
-
The staff were really helpful and friendly – it made a big difference.
-
“For anyone needing commercial doors, wood doors, or frames in Anchorage, this is definitely the place to go – they’re clearly the best option in the area.”
