  I contacted Muotka Mechanical about a problem that arose after some recent work they’d done on my new home. I spoke with Greg Muotka around 8:15 in the morning, and he had a technician out to take a look shortly after lunchtime.   “Since installing the smart thermostat, my furnace has been acting really erratically, cycling on and off intermittently. I called another company out to take a look, and unfortunately, they diagnosed a problem with the control board, estimating a $600 repair.
