  “We were really disappointed with Faltz’s service. Back in 2020, we waited for an estimator to give us a quote on landscaping and water features, but they never contacted us. Then, this year we reached out again to get a quote for a retaining wall, and they told us their estimators were booked until the beginning of June – advising us to call back then. It felt incredibly frustrating because if we’d called at the end of June, they’d still have been busy. Honestly, after this experience, we’ve lost all trust in Faltz, and we won’t be doing business with them again.” report abuse

  Overall, we had a really positive experience at Faltz. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to understand our needs and offer helpful advice. They were also really good at steering us away from a purchase that wouldn’t have been a good fit for us. We especially appreciated that the manager corrected a misquoted price on a tree – she immediately honored the original quote, which was fantastic customer service. And, honestly, they have the best selection of premium landscaping products in Anchorage; my wife and I were really impressed with what they had available. report abuse

  I’m really disappointed with the lack of response I’ve received when requesting quotes for landscaping. I’ve called three times over the past few weeks, and no one has bothered to return my calls. The receptionist said they were busy, but it’s 2016 – I expected a simple email or text to management. Given that you were recommended to me, I’m very disappointed that you haven’t shown an interest in my business. report abuse

  “I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received! From the very beginning, everyone was so helpful in planning my dog’s yard. The final result was fantastic – a beautifully designed space with the rock work, dog-friendly plants, sod, and everything tied together perfectly. Seriously, the team was incredible. Each employee I interacted with was professional and friendly, and the workers who did the actual installation were incredibly skilled, hardworking, and took such care with everything.   Honestly, we’re really disappointed with the service we’ve received. We initially requested an estimate and were placed on a waiting list, but after a year of waiting, we’ve still heard nothing. The receptionist seemed quite overwhelmed and unsure, and despite multiple calls – three in total – we haven't even gotten an email update. Given the scale of our project, we’ve decided to pursue our business elsewhere. It seems like a basic response confirming whether they can handle the job would have been a simple expectation to meet. report abuse

  I was really frustrated with this company. I reached out back in August of 2020 and was promised an estimator would get in touch, but I never heard back. I followed up several weeks later, and again, nothing. I even emailed them in the spring of 2021, hoping for a response, but still no word. It’s clear they don’t prioritize communication, and frankly, their lack of responsiveness is concerning. While the work they showcase online looks great, their customer service just wasn't up to par – I'd recommend looking for a landscaping company that actually answers their calls and emails. report abuse

  “This nursery had a really great selection of landscaping products and some beautiful, impressive trees – I was particularly taken with their tall, 10-foot column apple trees. However, unfortunately, they didn’t have the specific trees I was hoping to find.” report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with my experience. Sadly, most of the plants I purchased from this company died. To add to that, when I tried to resolve the issue and claim the year-long guarantee they offered, they refused, stating that it didn't apply because I had a professional landscaper do the planting.” report abuse
