  “We were really pleased with the installation RES did on our solar system – a 10.5 KW system on our Homer roof. They arrived on time, did a fantastic job, and got everything connected within three days after the inspection. The system’s performing really well so far, especially considering our 4/12 south-facing roof isn’t the most ideal. We’ve seen some good production, even with the snow covering the panels early in April – we got 15.8, 14, 40.8, and 13.9 KWH on a few clear days. Given that, we’re really happy with the results and expect things to continue improving as the weather gets warmer and the days get longer.” report abuse

  “I’d definitely recommend these guys! I had my solar panels installed five years ago, and surprisingly, they had to come back to address a minor issue with the electrical connections just a few days later. Carl and Kevin were fantastic – they gave me some excellent recommendations and I thoroughly checked everything out. I found the pricing to be very competitive, and I especially appreciated the convenience. The installation itself was surprisingly easy, taking just 3.5 hours, and I really valued the friendly and professional support I received when I called for advice.   “Overall, Renewable has some fantastic quality parts and occasionally offers competitive pricing. However, our experience with their service was incredibly frustrating. We had a Battleborn battery installed, but the technicians wired it incorrectly, leading to serious charging system errors in our truck. It took multiple visits, weeks of delays and a lot of back-and-forth before they finally got it working – and even then, it only lasted about two months before failing completely, despite solar input and a charging alternator. We ended up buying a new camper just to escape the constant cycle of repairs and corrections. While Karl, one of their experts, seems knowledgeable, it appeared other technicians were still learning, resulting in lengthy troubleshooting times and ultimately, charging us for work that hadn’t resolved the issue.” report abuse

  “I had a really positive experience with RES – especially thanks to Kevin. I was completely off-grid over the Christmas break when my generator failed in freezing temperatures (-32F!), and thankfully my RES solar system was still working great. However, my backup generator wasn’t kicking in. Kevin spent almost 40 minutes patiently troubleshooting with me, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and got everything back up and running. Honestly, customer service like that is rare these days! I’ll definitely be buying all my solar panels from RES going forward – Kevin’s service has earned him my repeat business.” report abuse
