  “We had a really great experience working with AJ to replace our old French door with a sliding glass door. It’s been such a pain to operate the original one, and AJ really went the extra mile to help us make it happen, even though it was a bit more expensive than we’d initially budgeted. The windows themselves are fantastic – so much better than what we had before, with the 3-pane glass and the krypton gas filling, which we know will last a long time. We’ve had argon windows in the past, but it’s dissipated, so we’re confident this new one will be a long-term investment. Plus, because it's a replacement, the company will take care of any damage that might occur during installation, which gives us a lot of peace of mind.   Overall, this company was fantastic. They were incredibly professional and didn’t pressure us at all when they gave us a quote and explained their window replacement product. We had a large living room window installed about a month ago, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! The window looks fantastic, and the noise reduction from the highway is a huge improvement – I’m really looking forward to seeing how it performs in the winter.   “Honestly, the whole experience was incredibly stressful. The initial quote was shockingly inflated, and then they insisted our new windows were outdated ‘80s technology while simultaneously declaring our existing patio door was worthless. To add to the pressure, they strongly warned us that any other installer would require us to rip out and replace the patio door within a year. The salesman’s tactics were relentless, offering a limited-time discount only if we signed immediately, and then claiming he had ‘approved’ extra funds for that day alone. They spent the entire time going over every detail – the manufacturing process, the warranties, everything – it felt like we were being interrogated. Leaving the appointment, my husband and I felt completely worn down. It’s just not reasonable to pay $16,000 for a basic French door, especially considering the value of our home. While they were certainly thorough and used very aggressive sales techniques, I’d give them two stars for that level of detail.” report abuse

  “AHT really impressed us – their sales presentation and warranty details were much more comprehensive than we’d received from other companies. While it was a pretty detailed and lengthy process, and honestly a little overwhelming at times, it also gave us a really reassuring level of thoroughness. Based on the quote, they seem like they’re offering a competitive price, which is great considering how busy the market is right now.   “We had a really frustrating experience with AHT. We entered one of their drawings at a wedding show and they contacted us to provide a quote for new windows. While the initial consultation was lengthy – over two hours – and included a lot of unnecessary details like laminated certificates, it quickly became clear we weren’t interested. To be honest, the extended presentation felt completely overwhelming. Despite telling them multiple times that we didn't want a quote and to stop calling, they continued to contact us. It was incredibly annoying and felt like a complete waste of our time.” report abuse
