  “I’ve built several custom homes over the years, and honestly, Zbranek & Holt was the absolute best experience I’ve had. They tackled a really modern design with some complex elements, and the final result was just perfect. What really stood out was their project manager – he was incredibly detail-oriented and was consistently on-site, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. He really took pride in the work, and you could see that reflected in the whole team’s commitment. Plus, their accounting was completely transparent, which is a huge relief – no unexpected costs or hidden fees. The online client portal was fantastic, giving me constant updates and clear documentation on every change order.   George and Sandra’s experience with Zbranek & Holt Custom Homes was absolutely fantastic. They built their beautiful home in Horseshoe Bay, and really went above and beyond to ensure they got exactly what they envisioned. Steve, Tony, and their team were incredibly attentive, anticipating details like their preferred black and white color scheme and proactively working to make it a reality before they even needed to ask. Tyler was always readily available to offer helpful suggestions and answer any questions, and Tori was a huge asset with all the purchasing and navigating the many changes they requested.   “I was so impressed with Zbranek and Holt’s service – they built our lake house back in 2020, right in the middle of Covid, and five years later, when our hot water heater froze up and we desperately needed a plumber, they stepped in immediately.   “I wanted to share my really frustrating experience with Zbranek & Holt Custom Homes from March 4th, 2025. We were building on a lot overlooking Lake Travis, and unfortunately, we experienced some incredibly strong winds – around 50 miles per hour, but gusting up to 100 due to the location. The wind really impacted our house, specifically blowing a ceiling fan completely out of its socket with only one bolt holding it. It was hanging there precariously, with the blades hitting the ceiling. Because the house was delivered in 2021, the warranty had long expired. I contacted Tony Holt, the company boss, at 5 PM, and he and his VP, Tyler Dart, immediately started trying to find an electrician. They worked hard, with Tyler even driving 40 minutes with a new baby, but no electrician was available that day. Tyler managed to fix the fan himself, driving another 40 minutes to and from the site, and it was a huge effort. Honestly, the level of dedication they showed was outstanding – it felt like they went far beyond what was expected!” report abuse

  “We absolutely love our new home built by Zbranek & Holt! It’s honestly a dream come true, and we couldn’t have done it without their incredible team – Tony, Tyler, Brandie, and Johnny. Building a custom home is a huge undertaking, and let’s be honest, it’s full of potential hiccups, but the way Zbranek & Holt handled everything was truly exceptional. Brandie was fantastic, always taking the time to discuss every little detail with us, and Johnny was a constant source of support, no matter how challenging things got. There were definitely some unexpected issues along the way, but their willingness to openly communicate and find solutions with us made all the difference. To be honest, we know of other friends who’ve built custom homes, and none have had the same positive experience.   “We couldn’t be happier with our decision to build with Zbranek and Holt. My wife and I bought a property on the Blanco River with the intention of making it our retirement home, and choosing the right builder was really important to us. We’d looked at several firms, and were initially drawn to a well-regarded green builder. However, Zbranek and Holt had such an outstanding reputation for creating truly impressive homes, and I worried they might not give our 2275 square foot house the individual attention we were hoping for. Thankfully, Steve Zbranek quickly put our minds at ease. Working with Tony Holt and the whole team at Z&H has been absolutely fantastic. It’s clear they genuinely care about getting things right, and they consistently went above and beyond our expectations.
