  Edward and his team did a fantastic job replacing my mother’s driveway and retaining wall. The driveway has a pretty steep slope, and we were particularly worried about water runoff, especially into the garage. We’ve had a few rains since the work was completed, and thankfully, no water has gotten in – which was a huge relief! My mother absolutely loves the new driveway and retaining wall, and we’re so grateful for their hard work. report abuse

The team really went above and beyond – they even worked late into the night, braving the freezing temperatures, to get everything finished. They paid such close attention to detail and ensured everything was absolutely perfect before they left.   “I had a truly awful experience with Sam the Concrete Man. They started with a simple concrete pad, but the first attempt was completely unusable – it was incredibly uneven and needed significant work just to make it level. Then, they added nearly 18 inches of concrete to one side without addressing the underlying issues. Beyond the terrible workmanship, it was a really unprofessional experience. They left a mess of trash on my property, including broken glass and beer bottles, and even used my tools without asking. The project manager’s initial vision was completely disregarded, and I felt like I was being misled. The second attempt was even worse – it was basically a bowl, collecting water, and had already started cracking. They ran out of concrete halfway through and used a cheaper product, and the crew seemed disgruntled. Sam himself offered a lot of excuses, but refused to give me a refund, despite the massive problems. Honestly, I moved on to another contractor to get this sorted out, and now I’m pursuing legal action to try and recover my costs. I wouldn’t recommend Sam the Concrete Man – steer clear if you’re looking for quality work and a respectful experience.” report abuse

  “I was absolutely thrilled with the work Ed Elliott and his team did on my driveway and porch! They did a fantastic job replacing my concrete driveway and installing a beautiful new bluestone patio and front porch. Ed was so helpful throughout the whole process, providing great quotes and offering really helpful suggestions.
