  “I can’t recommend 50Floors – avoid them at all costs. I hired them to replace the carpet on my staircase, and the experience was completely disastrous. The initial consultant gave me incorrect advice, suggesting a reddish wood that clashed horribly with my existing color, based on information from my dining room instead of the staircase itself. The installers then installed a mismatched combination of thin red and thick brown wood. When I pointed out the problem, they insisted the original consultant was right and refused to send someone else. After paying nearly $2,000, they tried to pressure me into accepting a resolution by offering to file it with the Better Business Bureau – only to then retract the offer shortly after. It felt like a manipulative tactic to silence my concerns. This company clearly doesn’t stand by their work or their promises, and I wouldn't trust them to deliver on anything.” report abuse

  I cannot recommend this company. My experience was incredibly frustrating and ultimately a disaster. They entered my home, significantly damaged my door frames – over two inches in some areas – and then billed me to fix their own botched work. Despite continuing attempts to resolve the issue since November 2024, we’re still waiting for a full repair, and now they’re threatening to send me to collections. The damage itself includes a failing floor in my pantry, exposed nails on my baseboard, and issues behind my sofa. We’re happy to pay once everything is completely fixed, but this whole process has been a huge letdown after I’d been so excited about the project. Seriously, do your research before hiring anyone to work in your home – it turned out to be a terrible experience. report abuse

  “Anthony was fantastic! He and the other young lady came to our home to give us a quote, and from the very beginning, he made us feel completely comfortable – it was like chatting with a friendly neighbor about our flooring options. He was incredibly professional but also really personable, and we never felt pressured at all. Even though we knew it would be a few months before we were ready to start the remodel, he was so understanding and patient with all our questions. He offered several financing options and was really helpful, even showing us pictures on his phone of how the flooring would look in our home.   Anthony H. was fantastic – truly a breath of fresh air. We’d had several sales reps visit and it was refreshing to finally connect with someone who really understood our needs regarding our flooring project. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and clearly demonstrated a deep understanding of what we were hoping to achieve.   “Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. To start, the salesperson was fantastic and really helped me choose the right product – that’s where things went downhill. The installation was scheduled perfectly, but the installers damaged my floor and left me with a plywood subfloor. Then, I was given a vague promise of a call back that never came; it turned out their call center was actually in South Africa and no one ever followed up. The material had to be reordered and then sold to someone else, and I ended up having to choose a different style. Despite this, a delivery and installation were scheduled, but they completely failed to show up. I had to escalate the issue through the Better Business Bureau, and thankfully, someone finally contacted me and completed the installation four days later. While the installers themselves were good, the whole process was riddled with problems – miscommunication, delays, and a general lack of organization from the company.
