  “I wanted to share my experience after a few years had passed, especially after reading some of the other reviews. Honestly, the damage spoke for itself – I’d been hesitant to park on my driveway on hot days, but after just thirty minutes, I noticed significant tire divets that quickly worsened over the next couple of weeks. When the inspector came out, he basically told me I’d never be happy with the job. They offered a discount to keep it as is, which, frankly, seemed like the easier option for them. I told them it was worthless in its current state, and they eventually redid the work, which was acceptable. What was really frustrating was how they tried to make me look unreasonable and have impossible demands. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone – not ever.” report abuse

  “I’m really disappointed with the service I received. They’ve clearly left scuff marks on my driveway from turning the car tires, and it’s frustrating that I’m now responsible for dealing with them. The crew I spoke with seemed dismissive, suggesting the repairs would actually make things worse, and Tony never even showed up to the shop – I never saw him there at all. It’s incredibly concerning that Anderson Brothers doesn’t seem to stand behind their work, and honestly, I don’t see this getting resolved. Adding to my frustration is the ongoing lawsuit with the state.” report abuse

  Overall, we’re still a little disappointed with the final result. They initially did a poor job laying the driveway this spring, resulting in significant puddles after rain. It took a lot of effort and several attempts to get it sorted out, and we appreciate them standing by their work by agreeing to a complete replacement. However, while we’re grateful for the second attempt, the new driveway now has a poor alignment with our landscaping and a noticeably rough, jagged edge. It’s clear they tried to address the issues, but the attention to detail and overall quality still need improvement. report abuse

  This company’s history raises serious concerns. Recent reporting by the Star Tribune revealed a troubling pattern: they were accused of manipulating asphalt quality records to inflate profits, totaling $1.3 million gained through State and Federal contracts. An internal whistleblower brought this to light, and the company ultimately settled the case out of court for the same amount.   We were really disappointed with the quality of work done on our driveway. There’s a significant puddle at the end, a wide crack running through it, and a lot of grass growing up the edges. It also hasn't fully hardened, leaving lots of divots. To make matters worse, the first representative didn't even show up for our scheduled appointment – and did it twice! The supervisor was completely unprofessional the last time he came out, yelling and being very difficult to deal with. He then essentially told us that grass grows on driveways and that we shouldn't park things on it, despite it being a driveway’s intended purpose. We’ve also heard from neighbors that they've had similar driveway issues. Overall, we feel the service, communication, and the final result could definitely be improved. report abuse

  “Unfortunately, the driveway remains significantly uneven and with a persistent puddle after rain. Despite being advised that excessive roller use was the issue and a follow-up visit would only exacerbate the problem, the issue hasn’t been resolved.” report abuse

  Gene and his crew did a fantastic job with our driveway in the Brainerd Lakes area. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole process really smooth. He went above and beyond to coordinate with another contractor’s schedule, which was brilliant and prevented any potential issues with heavy equipment. The driveway itself is amazing – it’s 200 feet long with a great pad, and the price was really reasonable. The construction was on time and done with high-quality materials; it looks absolutely fantastic! It’s wonderful to finally have a paved driveway and say goodbye to mud and gravel. Everyone who’s seen it has commented on how well it’s done and how appealing the shape is. report abuse
