  “The technician was very efficient and got straight to the work, but unfortunately, he didn’t have any replacement parts on hand. As a result, my heating system still isn’t working, and I’m incredibly worried because a winter storm is coming on. I’ve already racked up a $700+ bill and I’m still stuck without heat as the temperature drops.” report abuse

  “I hired them to fix a leaking sink drain, and while they were able to complete the job in about 45 minutes, unfortunately, the leak returned just three weeks later. I was really disappointed that the repair wasn’t lasting and, even worse, they didn't offer any kind of refund or a follow-up repair – it just felt like another chance for them to charge me for the same problem.” report abuse

  “I had a really frustrating experience – it was the coldest day of the year and my heat just stopped working, it was a freezing 54 degrees in my bedroom! Thankfully, I called Marv’s and they were incredibly responsive, getting me an appointment the next morning. The technician was professional, and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly – it only took about 30 minutes.   Honestly, we were really frustrated with Marv’s. Our furnace was working perfectly when they arrived, and they immediately told us we needed a whole new furnace because of a leaking peacock valve. They said it was too dangerous to restart and would send an estimate within a couple of days. It’s now been five days, and we still haven’t heard anything. To make matters worse, our insurance company sent an inspector who confirmed the furnace was actually fine – someone had just disconnected some parts. We’ve been without heat for four days! It’s strange that they didn’t respond or offer an estimate once they knew about the inspector. Needless to say, we won’t be using Marv’s again. We always try to support local businesses, but this experience was just too disappointing. report abuse

  Nate was absolutely wonderful – he really went above and beyond to help us out. He took the time to thoroughly check the plumbing and make sure everything was running smoothly, and he was incredibly proactive about preventing frozen pipes.
