“I had to replace my entire chimney and was really stressed trying to find someone. I got quotes from three different contractors, and it was tough going – a lot of them were backed up due to the pandemic. One never responded, another wanted to charge me for just an estimate, and then one gave me a quote that was four times higher than what I actually ended up paying! Thankfully, I found Upper Lakes Chimney. They were fantastic – so professional, really neat about the work, and they got the job done within a few weeks. And the best part was, they were surprisingly affordable. I’d definitely recommend them.”

“I was really pleased with the work Doug and his crew did on my house last summer – they built a new retaining wall and refaced the siding with rock. The finished product looks fantastic, and they were incredibly neat and tidy when they were done. I’d definitely recommend them.”

“We were really pleased with the chimney repair – Doug and his team did a fantastic job getting it done before winter arrived, and the repairs blended perfectly with the original stonework. We’d definitely recommend them!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the work Doug and his team did. They were fantastic – staying at the cabin for over a week and a half to complete a really big job, even with the challenging weather conditions last fall. Doug kept me completely in the loop, sending daily email photos of the progress and explaining all the details. They left the cabin spotless, and I really appreciated how knowledgeable Doug was; he went above and beyond to show me examples of his work and explain all the different options.”

“Upper Lakes Chimney was fantastic – they really did a great job getting our chimney back in top shape after the fire. They completely replaced the flue liner with insulated stainless steel, which was brilliant, and took the extra step of adding more insulation around it. The team was incredibly efficient and professional, starting the work right on time and staying focused until everything was finished. They kept us updated throughout the process, and they were so careful to prevent any mess from spreading – using drop cloths and plastic sheeting to protect our house. They even tidied up after each day’s work, and the final cleanup was spotless. Honestly, our wood stove is working better than ever!”

“I was really pleased with the work Upper Lakes Chimney & Masonry did replacing my metalbestos chimney. They responded quickly when I called about the damage from the snow last winter, and they got the job done efficiently. The crew was also incredibly professional and did a fantastic job – I’m very happy with the result.”
-
“Doug, thanks so much for installing the new fireplace – we absolutely love it!”

“They did an absolutely amazing job – you could really see the care and attention to detail they put into it. It was clear they were proud of their work and it showed through the quality. We really enjoyed working with them; the collaboration was fantastic, and they were so easy to get along with. The final result is truly breathtaking.”
-
“This team was fantastic – incredibly reliable, provided a fair and detailed estimate, and took the time to clearly explain everything they were doing. I’d absolutely hire them again, though thankfully, their work was so excellent I didn’t need to!”

“Upper Lakes Masonry really helped me find the perfect stone to match my brick house – they had some beautiful suggestions! And they were just easy and friendly to work with.”
