“Overall, this company really impressed me. They offer generators for both homes and businesses – even taking into account the specific challenges of powering things in Alaska. I appreciated their reliable equipment and the great service they provided.”
-
“The ESI sales and service team consistently delivered exceptional work and maintained fantastic communication – truly a world-class operation.”

“I had a really positive experience renting equipment from Equipment Source Rentals. Eric was fantastic – he was so helpful in getting everything I needed to complete my concrete slab project, including a Kubota Excavator and a Toro Mud Buggy. Thanks to their equipment, the whole job went much faster and easier than I anticipated. I’d definitely recommend them for any construction project!”

“This is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a truly off-grid experience – they really take care of everything you need to be completely self-sufficient.”

Milo at ESI was fantastic to work with! He was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process, always keeping me updated and answering all my questions. There were a couple of minor delays due to the time of year, but Milo was completely upfront about them. Plus, he even managed to secure a better financing deal for me than I was able to get on my own – that was a huge bonus. It was really refreshing to find a dealer like Milo and ESI who actually took the time to call me back as I was researching different options. I wholeheartedly recommend ESI to anyone looking for new equipment.

“Overall, I’m really pleased with the tractor and attachments I purchased from ESI – the equipment itself is great and the team is always so friendly and helpful to work with. My only feedback would be around communication; I’ve found it can be a bit slow. I often need to call multiple times to get updates on my orders or service requests. It seems they’re incredibly busy, and I understand that, but a quick call every week or so to let me know what’s happening would really make a difference and give me peace of mind.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience purchasing generators from Equipment Source. I’ve bought several units and unfortunately, every single one has come with significant warranty problems – issues with the radiators, missing seals, and alternators. The warranty service itself was completely unreliable, and I ended up paying thousands of dollars out of my own pocket to get these machines repaired after they were only less than a year old. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Equipment Source to anyone, and I’d suggest looking at Alaska Diesel Electric if you’re considering a diesel generator.”

I was really looking forward to getting a new tractor, but my experience with Equipment Source of Alaska, the local Kubota dealer, was incredibly frustrating. I requested a quote and, encouraged by the salesman, Mike, I put down a deposit using my credit card, anticipating a build time of 3-4 weeks. Despite the tractor being on sale with dealer incentives and a $3000 premium compared to other dealers, I wanted to support a local business. However, just a week later, Mike called to say that management had decided to raise the price another $2000 – completely out of the blue! It felt incredibly dishonest, and I reluctantly agreed to the extra charge. Weeks went by, and then I was told the tractor wasn't actually being built, and they needed another 2-3 weeks due to "technical problems." By that point, I was seriously questioning Equipment Source of Alaska. I requested a refund of my deposit, and thankfully they processed it, but tacked on a 3% fee and another unexpected charge. Honestly, the whole experience felt completely unethical and poorly managed. I wouldn't recommend dealing with Equipment Source of Alaska – it’s simply not a trustworthy or reliable dealership.

“I’m really impressed with Kubota tractors – they’ve proven to be a fantastic value, offering a great balance of quality, durability, and a seriously tough build at a price that’s significantly lower than many other brands in the agricultural sector. They handle snow like a champ, but I’ve been putting them through their paces with everything from light gravel work and landscaping to gardening and even food plot projects, and I haven’t missed a deadline yet! Plus, the team at ESI have been fantastic, and their quick service has been a huge help keeping me on track all year long.”

“Bob, thanks so much for reaching out and letting me know you appreciated the help with your pin top link issue on the 23s. It was truly great service – you don’t often see that kind of attention these days, and the team really knocked it out of the park!”
