  “I recently had Kolb Electric come out to assess and potentially repair my floodlights, and I was really disappointed with the experience. The technician arrived, took a quick look around, and told me the snow was the issue and nothing could be done. He didn't spend much time actually investigating the problem, just jotting down a few notes and then leaving. To my surprise, I was then charged $195 for this visit – it felt completely unreasonable given that no work was actually completed. I think it was incredibly unprofessional and misleading to be charged for a visit where no service was provided. Honestly, I wish they had rescheduled or waived the fee, considering the circumstances. I’d definitely advise anyone thinking of using Kolb Electric to ask about all charges upfront and to carefully consider their choice.” report abuse

  “Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the price. Getting two ceiling fans installed in the bathrooms ended up costing over $1,500, which felt incredibly expensive. It took two separate visits, and their hourly rate really added up. I’ve used other companies before and this was significantly more than $350 for a similar job – it only took a few hours last time.   Overall, I was very disappointed with the service I received from Kolb Electric. I hired them to replace my electric panel, and while Mr. Silva’s initial proposal seemed acceptable, the lead electrician who actually did the work was completely unfamiliar with it. He couldn’t answer my questions and deviated significantly from the agreed-upon plan. After he called in sick, another electrician finished the job, but he’d already damaged my ceiling and left insulation scattered across my hallway – he refused to clean it up, stating he’d use a vacuum. It ended up taking another three hours for my power to be restored, and I had to clean the insulation myself to prevent it from getting tracked into my bathroom. To add to the frustration, Mr. Silva sent the same lead electrician to meet with the inspector, and he was incredibly rude and unapologetic, displaying a completely unprofessional attitude. Because of this experience, I will not be using Kolb Electric for any future electrical work. report abuse
