  This company has been a complete nightmare. Since October 2023, I’ve been stuck with a barely-started roof repair, and frankly, it’s been an unbelievable process. They’ve taken my insurance money and deposit, totaling over $20,000, but haven’t done a single thing substantial. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone, calling and texting with no response, constantly being put on hold, and essentially having to chase them for updates. They’ve repeatedly tried to get more money from me, even after the work was supposedly done, and the entire experience has felt like a massive waste of time. Adding to the frustration, they’re just a middleman – the actual roofing work was handled by someone else. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint, which finally prompted the owner to contact me, but even after nearly eight months and a $5,000 payment to a subcontractor, the problem remains unresolved – rain is still coming into my house. I strongly advise anyone considering this company, or “Nerd Power,” to steer clear. It seems they prey on vulnerable individuals and simply don't deliver on their promises. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this company. After investing over $7,000 and waiting over a year for a new roof, I’m still without one. I’m constantly being given shifting dates, with the latest estimate pushing the completion to mid-May. I’ve tried contacting them repeatedly through numerous phone numbers, but I’ve received no real response or accountability. Honestly, the level of service has been appalling and it’s caused me significant stress and worry. I feel completely taken advantage of, and I would really appreciate a direct conversation with Mr. Babe, the CEO, to discuss a resolution as quickly as possible.” report abuse

  “Honestly, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. The solar panel installation went smoothly enough initially, but after that, we haven’t heard a single thing from them. We’ve been battling electrical issues ever since, repeatedly requesting an inspection to ensure everything was properly installed, but they just vanish. They even told us they’d replace our outdated electrical box, which the inspector confirmed was necessary, but they never followed through. We ended up paying for the replacement ourselves because they wouldn’t step up. Then, they accused us of voiding our warranty – unbelievable! It’s clear they have absolutely no commitment to customer service or fulfilling their obligations. Getting a response from them is impossible, and they’re refusing to cooperate with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company.” report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience. My solar system stopped working and remained out of service for nearly three months due to issues with the equipment they installed. Worse, they haven’t offered any reimbursement for the downtime.   “I had a pretty frustrating experience with this company. They handled getting my insurance company involved to assess damage to my roof, and initially things seemed to be moving along. They contacted my insurance company and had roof inspectors out, but then they just stopped communicating. I suspect they received a payment from my insurance company, but I never received any updates or communication myself. Now, I’ve been trying to get in touch with them for a couple of months with no response – it feels like a scam, and I’d really advise anyone considering using this company to be extremely cautious.” report abuse

  “Overall, the crew did a fantastic job – they were really efficient and professional. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone. However, I have to be honest, I’m really disappointed with the outcome. Looking back, I wish I’d listened to my instincts and chosen a different roofing solution.   Overall, the roof installation was fantastic – a really impressive job. However, the solar project was a completely different experience. I felt pressured into it, and honestly, it wasn’t handled with the transparency I expected. There were key details missing throughout the process, like the placement of the electrical boxes, which were changed without discussion. I also wasn't given a clear understanding of the total cost, and the signing process felt incredibly rushed. When I finally reviewed the paperwork and saw the cost, I tried to back out, but I was met with a lot of pressure. It left me with absolutely no trust in this company. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this company’s service. During the solar panel installation, they damaged my roof tiles, leading to leaks. Despite three visits to “fix” the issue, absolutely nothing was resolved. Now I’m left to pay a separate roofing company to correct their mistakes, and even to move the panels themselves. What’s truly frustrating is their complete lack of communication; they never return calls, even when they promise to. Honestly, I can’t recommend them – it’s been a terrible experience, and I’ve found other solar companies to be far more reliable. report abuse
