From the very beginning, everyone I interacted with – including the initial contact, my consultant, and the installation team – was incredibly helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated how my consultant took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions promptly. The technicians were always professional and arrived on schedule, making the entire process smooth and comfortable.   Galen and the whole team at Nerd were fantastic! It was really great to meet everyone and see how well they work together. I was looking into solar last year with another company, but it was way too complicated and expensive. Galen completely changed things for me. He walked me through the new rebates available through the Inflation Reduction Act, which has actually reduced my energy consumption by 18% and made my home so much more comfortable. Because of his guidance, I’ve been able to scale back my solar system and save money – it's now costing me the same as I was paying APS. If you’ve gotten a solar quote before, I highly recommend reaching out to Nerd and specifically asking for Galen – you won’t be disappointed! report abuse

  I was really pleased with Nerd Power – they went above and beyond what I expected when it came to upgrading my home with solar energy. I started the process in early February and they finally turned the system on yesterday. Karl Goodman was fantastic; he explained everything so clearly from the beginning, and he was spot on with his predictions for each stage of the process. report abuse

  Overall, our experience with NerdPower has been incredibly frustrating. We initially chose them based on a recommendation and were pleased with the sales process and the idea of a lower electricity bill. While the installation wasn’t a major hassle, the reality has been far from what we expected. Our bills have consistently been significantly higher than anticipated, easily over $300 a month, despite having the same size solar system as several friends who are paying well under $100. We’ve confirmed with SRP that everything is correct on their end, but NerdPower continues to avoid addressing the core issue – our excessively high bill. They keep telling us it’s normal for the system to take a few months to adjust, but it’s been over a year, and nothing has changed. We’ve been passed around, receiving conflicting information, and they refuse to investigate why our production isn’t matching the expected output. It’s baffling and frankly, unacceptable. We’re essentially paying for a solar system on top of our regular SRP bill. To add insult to injury, they charged us a $175 service fee to simply check the panels! Another solar company recently came to our door and immediately recognized the problem – they agreed our bill was too high. Now, thankfully, a different company is investigating the issue for no charge. report abuse
