“I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. From the start, I was given misleading information about my solar panel costs. I was assured, based on my energy usage, that I’d only be responsible for the connection fee to SRP, but they completely failed to disclose the demand charge. As a result, my bills are now nearly identical to what they were before, with an added charge to cover the panels themselves – and my household hasn’t changed at all; we’re actually using less electricity. They also provided incorrect information regarding taxes, which was particularly concerning as I’m a widow relying on Social Security. I’ve even contacted the Attorney General, but my mail continues to be returned as undeliverable, despite confirming the correct address. Honestly, I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere.”

“I’m really concerned about the recent door-to-door sales people we’ve been having visit. They’ve been very persistent, continuing to come by even after we’ve asked them not to return, and they’ve even argued with us at our door. It feels quite aggressive and frankly, a little harassing. I hope they can respect our wishes and stop by.”

“I’ve been getting a lot of calls lately, even when I’ve made it clear I’m not interested. It’s frustrating because some of the callers just hang up, and I suspect they aren’t properly marking me as ‘Do Not Call’ or ‘Not Interested’ – which is adding to the persistent interruptions.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with Senergy Solar. Joseph Lohr initially convinced us to move forward with their installation, promising a relatively quick process and that he’d be our direct point of contact. We secured a loan to cover the cost, but over four months later, we still don’t have our solar panels installed. The most concerning part was the completely unprofessional behavior of the installers. They damaged my yard and, alarmingly, broke a gas line – which they didn't even report. Following this, they vanished without a trace. I've contacted Senergy repeatedly, including reaching out to the COO, Nate Gentry, but haven’t received any response or resolution. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend Senergy Solar. It’s been a frustrating and unresolved experience, and I urge anyone else who’s had a similar issue to report them to the AROC using ROC# 341251.”

“Joseph was fantastic! He really took the time to explain our solar solution in a way that was easy for us to grasp, and he patiently answered every single one of our questions. What really stood out was how personable he was – he genuinely seemed invested in finding the best options for our family. We’ve been working with Senergy and Joseph for a few months now, and we couldn’t be more pleased with his service.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly, furious with this company. I signed up with the expectation of an incentive, but it never materialized. They also assured me I could combine my existing loans, which hasn’t happened, and now I’m stuck paying an extra $460 a month. Worse, I’ve reached out to complain repeatedly and haven’t received any response. To add to this disaster, their electrician’s faulty work resulted in my husband and I being electrocuted! And to make matters even worse, they tried to bill *me* for the repairs. Seriously, please, do not use this company – it’s been a complete nightmare.”

“We absolutely loved our experience with Senergy! From start to finish, Josh was fantastic – he really took the time to explain everything to us, which was incredibly helpful since we were first-time homeowners. He walked us through the whole new system, compared it to our old setup, and even helped us understand the tax credits. Josh answered all our questions quickly and patiently, and he completely took the stress out of the upgrade. We felt so much more confident and excited about our new system thanks to his support. Senergy’s service was truly professional, and we’d definitely recommend them – they have a great product with solid warranties, and they made the entire process so smooth and easy.”

“I couldn’t be happier with Senergy! From start to finish, they were fantastic. The product itself is top-notch and they back it with an impressive 25-year warranty. Josh was particularly helpful – he really took the time to walk me through all my choices and explained everything clearly. And the best part is, they’ve continued to check in with me after the installation to make sure I’m completely satisfied. I’m already seeing a huge savings on my electric bill, over $1000 a year, and I’m getting a nice return on my investment thanks to the tax benefits. Honestly, they were the most knowledgeable company I worked with when getting quotes, and their pricing was very competitive. I highly recommend Senergy!”

I’m extremely disappointed with Senergy. From start to finish, the experience has been riddled with issues and misleading information. Alexis, our sales representative, was friendly and persistent, but unfortunately, the details she provided were completely inaccurate. The installation took significantly longer than promised, and we quickly discovered we were receiving a much smaller number of panels for a similar price compared to other customers with comparable homes. Adding to the frustration, we were told our financing would cover a substantial credit, which never materialized – we’ve only received the full payment four months later. Furthermore, the projected energy production was wildly off; we're only getting about half the electricity we were told to expect. Ultimately, we invested in solar hoping to save money on our electric bills, but our bills have actually increased, particularly in the fall. We were also told about a $600 SRP credit, which SRP confirmed they don't offer, and since then, I’ve been unable to get any response from Senergy via phone, text, or email. Because of all these problems, we’re planning to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

“Overall, my experience with this company has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Initially, I struggled with getting any support – emails went unanswered, and it took a formal complaint to the Attorney General to get things moving. However, things really improved after speaking with a representative who was able to clearly explain the utility company’s practices and help me optimize my solar system. While the communication has greatly improved and I feel much better about my switch, the initial process was incredibly frustrating. I bounced between several ‘project coordinators’ and it took nearly two months – from April to June – to get my panels installed. It was disappointing, especially after referring a friend, and I was upset that my referral bonus wasn’t included initially, only after persistent follow-up. I truly hope the company develops some standardized training for their staff to ensure everyone is on the same page. I’d definitely give them a 4-star rating – they’ve turned things around significantly, and I’d be interested in being part of the team to help them continue to create a fantastic experience for their customers.”
